Schmeichel 6- Flappy in first half along with one good save. Quiet in second half

Fuchs 7.5- Solid enough and got the assist!

Morgan 9- Turning into one of our most inspirational player- Shaked off jetlag to put in a monster performance and got the goal. I am pleased for him as I would love for all of our squad to look back on this season and to have one match where they have got the winner oran important goal.  Huth has Man City, Mahrez has Watford, Vardy has Liverpool, Drinkwater has Stoke etc and now Morgan has Southampton. 

Huth 7- Some ballsy defending. 

Simpson- 5.5 Mixed game, some silly tackling combined with some fine defending. Our weakest link and for a while Saints threw a lot on his side.

Albrighton 7- His ususal dependable self and did his bit. Some good crosses too. 

Drinkwater-6 Not at his best but some good positional play and played some threatening balls including that close miss for an own goal.

N'Kante 7-  Shaky in first half and gave away ball on few ocassions. Some fine defensive work and was more of a threat than Okazaki!

Mahrez- 5.5 Huffed and puffed but tried his best

Okazaki- 5 It hurts me to say this as I like the bloke but he always have to ruin our attacking moves least twice every game.  Good attacking play in first 15 minutes but faded after that.

Vardy 7- Some clever play and gave it his all.

 

Dyer 5- Did not really noticed him

Gray 6.5- Used his bag of tricks to troll Southampton- good one son.

Ulloa 6- Made things harder for Saints with some time wasting play. Putting him on corner kicks was a smart move.

Simpson our weakest link??!!

I agree, dreadful ball in from Fuchs and the header from Morgan, my god! What was he thinking??!!

Simpson's performance today was absolutely brilliant. Defensively he was immense and deserves a 10.

Simpson 9, would have been 10 if he had scored. His block of Mane was right in front of me. Not a handball and a piece of very good defending

Morgan 9 great performance.

Kante 9 magnificent as always

Apart from Mahrez, Okazaki and the subs (Gray a 7)

Mahrez and Okazaki had their moment but both tend to be poor after long away trips for internationals. Should be fine for next week.

Ranieri 8 more pizza, but these 1 nils are doing my blood pressure no good!

Simpson's block was unbelievable. Rest of his game was excellent, calm under pressure, good in the air.

Minimum score 9/10, anything less and very harsh IMO.

Schmeichel 5 - thought his command of the area was poor. Distribution erratic. Positioning for Mane's chance comical. Good save from Fonte and kept a clean sheet which is what he's paid for though.

Simpson 9 - Easily his best game for us

Morgan 9 - Led by example. Seemed to get his head on everything.

Huth 8 - good again

Fuchs 8.5 - decent, great cross for Morgan's goal.

Mahrez 4 - did a couple of decent things but generally poor.

Drinkwater 7 - not at his best but still made things tick for us in midfield.

Kante 7.5 - not his best game but had a huge last 20 minutes when the team really needed him.

Albrighton 6 - 9 for effort, 3 for the actual football. Did a great job defensively though.

Okazaki 4 - I'm a big Shinji person but thought he was poor today. No impact.

Vardy 6 - ok

Ulloa 6 - did ok but did anybody really think he'd score when put through on his left?

The Blur, what match were you watching, 5.5 for Danny Simpson????? what the hell, the best game so far in a blue shirt. M.O.M for me without a doubt

Forgive the steaming in a train to Devon.

But mahrez was garbage today. 2 out of 10.

Simpson was immense 13 out of 10.
