stox259 Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 By my nature I tend to look at negative posibilities before the positive ones. It frustrates me to hear Ian Stringer saying its done on the radio and that the league is sown up. Its far from it. Imagine Big Wes is sent off straight red first ten mins against the Hammers and Vardy pulls up with a hamstring. We loose the game and Spurs inevitably beat Stoke. The whole thing has changed. Now hopefully that wont happen of course and I'm sure the players know this is far from over until its over. Don't get me wrong the exact same thing could happen to Spurs but nonetheless we shouldn't take the foot off the pedal even for a second. Its not done. It will require the exact same commitment that the boys have shown in every other game and I'm sure they will deliver.
Countryfox Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Don't change a winning formula. Don't think there is much danger of that ... I think my dog can work out what our starting line up will be. We stopped worrying about the opposition and just played our own game ages ago ..... but this will be a tough test. This is the one and only time I will say this but I'll settle for a draw.
simon789us Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Tough game again need to be on it getting close now hope marhez has a better game than previous 2
VLC86 Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Jesus Easy mistake to make but it is actually Andy Carroll.
Dodgy Bob Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 West Ham play Wednesday - Sunday - Wednesday so good chance there will either be rotation or tired legs. We should be confident really, but I'm nervous as ever.
Vicki Vixen Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 3-5-2 for this game anyone? Ranieri just doesn't understand our winning formula. If only he read FoxesTalk more often.
Babylon Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 West Ham play Wednesday - Sunday - Wednesday so good chance there will either be rotation or tired legs. We should be confident really, but I'm nervous as ever. I'd not noticed the second Wednesday game, surely they are going to fancy the cup and the Watford game than ours.... here's hoping.
Countryfox Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 I'd not noticed the second Wednesday game, surely they are going to fancy the cup and the Watford game than ours.... here's hoping. With that in mind I am now going to upgrade my prediction to a win.
SpinneyHillRanger Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Payet loves kante as much as us... There's a lovely vid on YouTube showing payet can't keep his hands off our kante... Can't blame him everyone's loves a bit of kante
AyewJoking Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 we've won the last 5 without conceding??? so our confidence should be sky high but we have struggled in those games and had alot of luck.
shen Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 We don't give many chances away. It might take a Payet special to score against us. I see us scoring against them too, so my tip is another narrow win.

It will require the exact same commitment that the boys have shown in every other game and I'm sure they will deliver. Did he really say that? What a bellend. We still possibly need to find 9pts from five games that include away trips to Man Utd & Chelsea. We could quite feasibly take 7pts from three home matches and a draw and a defeat in our away games and still lose the title. Anyone who thinks this is all over bar the shouting is completely clueless. 8pts from those five fixtures would normally be a great return but still might not be enough.
cjslcfc Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 The better our opponent, the better we tend to play. I'm confident that playing West Ham will suit us. Our defence will be nowhere near as leaky as Arsenal's and W Ham seem to have let a fair few in recently. Still think this is the toughest game of our run-in though.
Mad Dog Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Defo the most nervous I've ever been for a game. I can't get out of my head how different things will look if we lose and Spurs win. Suddenly we have a 1 game cushion with 4 to go including Chelsea & United away. On the other hand; win and a 7 point lead with 12 to play for looks almost unassailable. Come on lads!
Brainy Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Not sure if its mentioned or if he's even a Leicester fan but good old Kevin Friend (Leicester) is the referee in Spurs' match at Stoke next week
atomicfox Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Very possibly the toughest game of the run in but there no reason to believe we can't Nick it.just hope everyone has binned their 'champions' scarves before the game, haven't they heard of the concept of hubris?
MonmoreStef Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Very possibly the toughest game of the run in but there no reason to believe we can't Nick it.just hope everyone has binned their 'champions' scarves before the game, haven't they heard of the concept of hubris? We are currently 11/10 to beat West Ham. I can assure you we will be far bigger price to beat Man Utd.
TheSomersetFox Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Not really been that nervous at all between games this year, but i think it's finally starting to sink in how big this is now. Hopefully West Ham knacker themselves on Wednesday
ARM1968 Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 I'm strangely relaxed. Dunno why. Have been for weeks now.
mozartfox Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 The Hammers are a top side with brilliant manager. This is going to be very tough. Need a Man City away performance for this one. Mahrez needs to get his game back on song as we are going to need his magic.
Countryfox Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 I'm strangely relaxed. Dunno why. Have been for weeks now. Doping.
martyn Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Will obviously be a very tricky game but think it's likely to be more open than what we've seen recently. Not sure it will be advisable to narrow the game too much to allow crosses into the box like we have recently, else Carroll could have a field day.
biggs Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Holy crap you people are in a bigger meltdown than the spurs lot. Pull yourselves together. Appears you're watching the games in the same light as the way you write your posts on here......full of fear.....Our performances are fine. Apparently many have started to believe the pundits who say Spurs are great and Leicester are lucky. Try and recall the games early on when all teams were holding more possession than us.....West Ham will dominate possession much of the game which suits our game to a tee. They will get chances but our defense is rock solid from the forwards back. We will get ours with more space when attacking on the counter. I wish all you fans the best of luck coping with your fear. If you were viewing all this from my perspective, you'd be loving every minute of this run in.
Guest Col city fan Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Two great sides should make for a great game. Both teams to score in a draw I reckon. Not too concerned about Carroll for this one. Huth and Morgan will sort him out.
