MPH Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 I think I have said this for about ten games in a row now, But, without a doubt, this is the most important game of our season... West Ham fancy themselves a bit so i don't think they will come to sit and defend...
melrose Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Are you Yoda in disguise? Not easy to turn over... will they be!
SpinneyHillRanger Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 bilic was saying after big duncan ferguson ....Carroll is the most dangerous player when balls are crossed in.... defenders are usually favourite... but with guys like big dunc and carroll, they are favourites. interesting to see what west ham play like against man united in the cup.
tsintskaro Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 when didi Caroll became top class forward, calm down guys, its 3-1 for leicester
ARM1968 Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Funny that a lot is posters on here still seem to think like most professional pundits - we're Leicester and we're a bit sh1t. It's a habit formed over decades. I know because I'm one. Trying to get your head round a good WHU side having to think about how to nullify us is quite bIzzare. Just as it is to think that we haven't conceded for 5 games. I think we can beat West Ham, but old habits die hard and I'm not sure we will.
STUHILL Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 I think Huth and Wes can take care of Carroll and Kante and Drinky can hopefully nullify Payet and Lanzini. I don't think they are that strong at the back and so with Mahrez due a good game and Vardy with his scoring touch back, plus a weeks rest.. I am going for 2-1 Leicester win.
nnfox Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Carroll won't be able to stick one on Huth or Morgan like he did to Koscielny early on and then have them in his pocket for the rest of the game. Don't get me wrong Carroll is as good as they come in the air and Wes and Huth will have their hands full, but it is a challenge both of them will be up for. A really intriguing heavyweight battle. I just hope Fuchs isn't given the responsibility of marking him at corners like he did against Pelle in the Southampton game. I was nervous every time although Fuchs did well. We need 3 wins. We have 3 home games left...
Detroit Blues Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 With the Hammers playing tomorrow, i'd imagine they will have some tired legs chasing Vardy and Kante around the pitch for 90 minutes. The only thing that worries me is conceding a couple goals from set pieces. Payet is on a different level from free-kicks, and Carroll will be tough to defend from corners.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Forget the "Twitchy Arse syndrome" lets take the noise level off the Richter Scale and drive our warriors onto victory! Chaaaaaaaaaaaaaarge
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Forget the "Twitchy Arse syndrome" lets take the noise level off the Richter Scale and drive our warriors onto victory! Chaaaaaaaaaaaaaarge ThisCome on boys and girls let's raise the volume a notch or two Up the Foxes
yorkie1999 Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Wonder which hotel theyll be stopping in saturday night. Could all the fans park up outside pipping their horns.
ramadaone Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Right cock on the block time I just can't see us winning this one West ham are due some good luck as they have had some terrible decisions go against them lately We are playing ok but have ridden our luck at times and just think it will run out on Sunday Not saying we will lose but can't see us winning West Ham at +1 goal is 5/6 so I'll be having £60 If we win I won't give a shite about losing 60 quid to be quite honest
SpinneyHillRanger Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 What troubles me, is the arsenal game away, giroud was winning a lot of aerial duels. Even if Carroll doesn't win everything he will just be a handful and the 2nd balls will be very important. Then they also have the flair and skill from payet and lanzini. Hopefully kante and drinky can take care of them. Mahrez is due a good game. I'm sure they will leave space for vardy and other to run behind. Whatever happens this is the Toughest game remaining in my book.

I have meat cleaver in hand
Clever Fox Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Really don't what's happened to inler, not even making the bench, but could do a job. Amartey seems to have settled well, would fill the extra defensive cover, King would be more suited if we were chasing the game. Yes Inler would have the experience but I don't think he's worth the risk at this stage of the season. Amartey would also ad mobility and height, West Ham have only lost 2 of their last 24 games in all competitions. That's a great record in itself. Lanzini is a quality player for them and can score long range goals. I just hope we're not over run in midfield with their 3 good players against our two. This is why I'd prefer if we matched up for this one. Or else Albrighton is going to have to tuck in alongside Kante and Drinkwater.
LJS Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 West Ham's record away from home against top half and top third sides is outstanding. Mind you, our record at home against top half teams is brilliant although against top third sides it's a little more sketchy (W1 D3 L1). Our recent home form is much better than their recent away record. They're shipping goals too. If I were neutral and looking for a match to bet on this weekend I wouldn't be touching this one. I don't think we'll come out with less than a draw, but it's going to be a bloody tough game. A draw in this, so long as we win our remaining two home games afterwards, will likely be enough anyway. I don't see Spurs winning every game. If we win on Sunday I'm declaring it done.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 West Ham are a great side but we can beat them Come on let's all think positively Up the Foxes
Clever Fox Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Spurs looked very impressive on Sunday if they can keep that level up they'll beat everyone. My hope is that Chelsea will put in a real effort against them as I'm sure they don't want Spurs winning the league.
limeydale Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Last 3 times we've played them we've won 2-1 I expect the same again
teblin Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Spurs looked very impressive on Sunday if they can keep that level up they'll beat everyone. My hope is that Chelsea will put in a real effort against them as I'm sure they don't want Spurs winning the league. Form also says we can win 3 out of 5, then who cares what spurs do.
Clever Fox Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Last 3 times we've played them we've won 2-1 I expect the same again True but this is bigger than any of the others and they added to their squad since then. Form also says we can win 3 out of 5, then who cares what spurs do. Also true, but if we lose one the pressure and nerves will be immense. Do we really want to be playing Utd Everton and Chelsea having to win two. Which is why I see this game on Sun as massive.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Oh FFS this is getting fkn pathetic now, is there 1 of you out there that would honestly swap positions with Spurs? I should be enjoying FT in this momentous season but these sad nervous wimpy posts are taking all the pleasure out of it!
fuchsntf Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Oh FFS this is getting fkn pathetic now, is there 1 of you out there that would honestly swap positions with Spurs? I should be enjoying FT in this momentous season but these sad nervous wimpy posts are taking all the pleasure out of it! Wuzzies, Plonkers..King Dick should give em a quick visit and haunt the nerves out of them. I hope this weekend these cosmetic plastic nerves, dont sift through the terraces. No quiet periods, unless they are all gobsmacked, and cant believe the the wonder the foxes are mesmorising them With... The bubble will burst, but it will be the hammers voices when they cant blow any. Not Tora Tora Tora...but Kitsune, Kirtsune.Kitsune... Shinji is out there!!
Reg Vardy Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Can see us drawing, Spurs losing/ drawing.... Depends on tomorrow. They may pick up injuries. If they win tomorrow the Semi is the following week. They would likely rest one or two key players. Extra time would be handy, though I think passion will see them win the last cup tie at Upton in normal time. If they lose, their season is virtually over, Europa the only thing they can realistically achieve, and I ain't sure Bilic wants that. To win the FA Cup in your last season at your home ground must be their main focus.... It is stacked in our favour, but would take a draw.....
