MonmoreStef Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 I do think Weds night Cup game will have a massive bearing on the game. As others have said extra time please. A 22 man brawl as well with multiple suspensions for both sides would be nice as well.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Yeah, but, they've never been 1/7 for the league before. If we show the slightest sign of weakness, they're going to be all over us like a rash. If it were Arsenal, I wouldn't be bothered, but this Tottenham side are well capable of winning all 5. Remind me, how are we doing points wise in comparison to Spurs? How have we done in our last 5 games (points)? How many goals have we conceded in those 5 games?
mikael2 Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Defo the most nervous I've ever been for a game. I can't get out of my head how different things will look if we lose and Spurs win. Suddenly we have a 1 game cushion with 4 to go including Chelsea & United away. On the other hand; win and a 7 point lead with 12 to play for looks almost unassailable. Come on lads!I'm New here and Leicester is not my first Team. But at the moment I'm only interested to hear and view what happens with the foxes. And I am very, very nervous too. I saw two complete matches from Westham. The last one and the one against Tottenham. In both of the matches they showed such a strong mentality. Maybe they are stronger at home. But at the Moment they have 24 points from outside. This is not so Bad.

Bluetintedspecs Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Two great sides should make for a great game. Both teams to score in a draw I reckon. Not too concerned about Carroll for this one. Huth and Morgan will sort him out.I think they will be physically and emotionally drained after massive FA Cup game against Man Yoo following a massive game against the Arse. A trip to the league leaders will be motivation and I believe they are a very good side, I just feel our intensity and motivation will be greater and win the day!
Monsell1976 Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Very good side, going to be the hardest game for a while. As much as we are flying at the moment, performances haven't been as good as they have been this season, especially from some of the players, mahrez last two games, Okazaki last couple of games. This is by no means a criticism, we haven't been at the top of our game, but still winning, and for us playing the lesser sides, is a great achievement, as last season we had trouble against the lower positioned clubs. We do seem to step up a gear, against the bigger, better teams, and the players will know how good West Ham are, so should be well up for it. Wouldn't even try to guess the score for this one.
st albans fox Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Just got to make sure we don't concede any free kicks in the final third within the boundarys of the penalty area Cost us against Gardner and payet is twice the player than him with those.
gurru991 Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 It's going to be avery tough game, Huth will need to do a job on Carrol, we can't give him the space Arsenal did. Payet is a killer with his free kicks as well, not sure it's possible to even defend them. I'm excited & terrified at the same time.
Finn Claw II Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Is this really that much tougher than Southampton? Both good sides below the 'big 6' Carroll has had one amazing game. We have kante to keep payet quiet. Believe in Mahrez and Vardy. 4-1 to us
leeleic Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 I've been thinking for a while that this fixture is genuinely the toughest of our finish line run in. I'm a big fan of what Bilic has achieved at West Ham this season. They too are a hard working and disciplined side with some very influential players who can hurt us. I don't think they will come here and be intimidated by us at all. Sure, I think they'll show some respect to our position but feel they have the confidence in the knowledge they can cause us real problems. We both like to play open and exciting football. The advantage to us is that we are keeping regular clean sheets. As someone above said, this is going to be a very difficult one to call.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 This twitchy arse syndrome is reaching epidemic proportions
Grey Fox Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 By my nature I tend to look at negative posibilities before the positive ones. It frustrates me to hear Ian Stringer saying its done on the radio and that the league is sown up. Its far from it. Imagine Big Wes is sent off straight red first ten mins against the Hammers and Vardy pulls up with a hamstring. We loose the game and Spurs inevitably beat Stoke. The whole thing has changed. Now hopefully that wont happen of course and I'm sure the players know this is far from over until its over. Don't get me wrong the exact same thing could happen to Spurs but nonetheless we shouldn't take the foot off the pedal even for a second. Its not done. It will require the exact same commitment that the boys have shown in every other game and I'm sure they will deliver. This. That really wound me up. It's like he's trying to tempt fate on purpose. It was the comment at the end of the Southampton game 'catch us if you can spurs, but you wont because it's done'. There is no way it was done at that stage. However even I would have to believe it was 99% done if we beat West Ham. Personally I think spurs will drop 2 points at some stage (probably against Chelsea). I therefore think that 7 more points will be enough for us. Were we to beat West Ham that would leave us needing 4 points from 4 games, with 2 winnable home games to go. Even the biggest pessimist has to agree that we could do that. Even if we needed 6 points I still think we can get that from the final 4 games. So this is the big one for me. I think spurs fans know this is their last chance to make us wobble. I would dearly love to silence them once and for all by taking all 3 points on Sunday.
SpinneyHillRanger Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 LAST 40 seconds shows payet and n'golo appreciating each other
biggs Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 It'll be a nervy game as we get used to sitting back again but prior to this run of lower placed teams excluding Southampton, we played Liverpool to a 2-0 win and Man City to a 3-1 win. Think this game will be pretty similar.
biggs Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Not easy this one What game has been.....maybe Man City
teblin Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Tough one this, we'll be solid and compact expect west ham to be a tad more expansive. Than others. 2-1 to city.
MC Prussian Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 LAST 40 seconds shows payet and n'golo appreciating each other Surprisingly enough, they share the same birthday. #conspiracytheoryatitsfinest
weller54 Posted 11 April 2016 Author Posted 11 April 2016 Ammers poor away from home.. Easier game than Southampton! 2-0 Vardy double.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Not easy this oneWill be a tough battle against a quality side Leicester win Up the Foxes
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 West Ham will not be an easy team to beat, and we need to be at our very best, in order to win. Having said that, the same applies to all our remaining fixtures.
Gerard Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 Draws are no good to us now unless: a) we get three more b) Tottenham draw a match Same as for the Sunderland game, MUST WIN
Clever Fox Posted 11 April 2016 Posted 11 April 2016 I'd bring King in to the midfield for this one to watch Payet. He also offers a goal threat going forward. That would leave Kante to watch Noble and allow Drinkwater to play. We also need to stop there full backs getting forward and supplying crosses for Carroll. If we can do that we can go on to win this match. Onwards and upwards we go.

If I was to add another midfielder to stop payet, it wouldn't be King, not renowned for his combative defensive play.If Claudio was to add a midfielder, I would put in amartey, natural defender/ defensive midfielder, and has looked composed and good when brought in.
