Bluetintedspecs Posted 13 April 2016 Posted 13 April 2016 What do the "twitchy arse brigade" think now?
Ashley Posted 13 April 2016 Posted 13 April 2016 They looked awful tonight but no two games are the same.
Johnnybloke Posted 13 April 2016 Posted 13 April 2016 Forget the "Twitchy Arse syndrome" lets take the noise level off the Richter Scale and drive our warriors onto victory! Chaaaaaaaaaaaaaarge That'll be the 'Rectum deal's COYB
foxes_rule1978 Posted 13 April 2016 Posted 13 April 2016 West Ham play into our hands, defensively they are lacking and like to play on the front foot, they won't play to shut us out. It isn't their style, I expect them like they have done in a lot of matches to leave spaces in behind
foxes_rule1978 Posted 13 April 2016 Posted 13 April 2016 They looked awful tonight but no two games are the same. Leggy after the Arsenal game and now they have had to play another 90 or so minutes, plus I feel we can really punish them.
Great Boos Up Posted 13 April 2016 Posted 13 April 2016 What do the "twitchy arse brigade" think now? My arse is now twitching about the Man U game
Bluetintedspecs Posted 13 April 2016 Posted 13 April 2016 My arse is now twitching about the Man U game Ha ha ha ha ha
weller54 Posted 13 April 2016 Author Posted 13 April 2016 Rather play these than Southampton at the moment!.. Spurs won't have an easy game against them that's for sure!
filbertstreet Posted 13 April 2016 Posted 13 April 2016 What do the "twitchy arse brigade" think now? Don't think I wiped properly
STUHILL Posted 13 April 2016 Posted 13 April 2016 They looked very one dimensional tonight. Get the ball into the box and hope Carroll scores. Usually that would be a concern as the way we play, we allow teams time to pick crosses but with Wes and Huth for Carroll to deal with, it should suit us and then we can break fast and hit their defence which I think is their weakness. Really looking forward to the game and lets hope Stoke can do some damage to Spurs, I doubt it but I do think WBA the week after could hold them to a 0-0
ian_marshall Posted 13 April 2016 Posted 13 April 2016 A couple of observations from tonight's game: - West Ham looked OK going forward but don't protect the back line particularly well. - Antonio looks absolutely shattered. - If you restrict the space for Payet to play in he struggles to have much impact. - Force Valencia on to his left foot and he poses little danger. - West Ham looked exhausted as the game progressed, if we can set a high tempo from the outset they'll struggle in the closing stages.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 13 April 2016 Posted 13 April 2016 Irrespective of the cup result West Ham will be a tough game Winnable though and I hope/think Leicester will win 2-0 or 2-1? Up the Foxes
SpinneyHillRanger Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 hopefully playiong 3 big games in a week takes a toll on them.... antonio looked shattered after the arsenal game. In this one, they might be up for it early... but as the game goes deeper, i see us pulling away.
EnglishOxide Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 I think this is the sort of game where we should start fast. Press press press. Overpower them from the start and take advantage of their tired legs. We've not had a fast start in a while, shame as it was turning into something of a trademark!
foxfanazer Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 Was Antonio playing at right back? If so I hope he does against us
Mainlander Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 West Ham play football so as others have said could well play into our hands. Hard to tell how the FA Cup defeat will affect them, take it they would love to catch Man U to deny them a european spot so they should be up for it. Hard to pick but as always fingers and toes crossed.
AKCJ Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 Yet another time I've seen a full 90 minutes of Payet and I've still not seen him take the team by the scruff of it's neck like the other 5 POTY nominees have this season. Not to say he's a bad player (nor that i've seen him play regularly), he's very good. But is he really as good as people make out?

Have you told Claudio all this? Just emailed him and he said thanksa for the headsa upa.
stix Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 We'll have the title wrapped up a week on Sunday. We beat this lot, Stoke beat Spurs on Monday night, then we beat the Jacks at home the following Sunday to send the whole city berserk.

RobHawk Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 Mahrez to score or have a worldy assist - His competitive side won't like Vards getting the plaudits again after his 2 goals last week!
filbertway Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 Do West Ham push up that much? Looked like they spent the majority of the game camped in their own half until United got their first. There was a point where Carrol was urging the midfielders to push forward and close down as they were sat so deep.
