Finnegan Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 It's okay to occasionally fancy a Nun, but don't get into the habit. Double pun points.
Alf Bentley Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 It's okay to occasionally fancy a Nun, but don't get into the habit. Have you ever snogged a nun? I did, accidentally, a couple of years ago. One of my Irish cousins (aged 80+) is a nun. As I was leaving, I went to kiss her on the cheek (as she'd done to me previously) but she turned suddenly and I ended up kissing her full on the lips. Very embarrassing moment for all concerned. Was I just imagining it when I perceived a wistful look in her eye, as if she was realising what she'd been missing all those years?
The Guvnor Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 Always go with my wife and two son's my wife is as passionate about Leicester CIty as I am.
goose2010 Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 The Mrs is a Man Utd Season ticket holder with her dad she has been for 20 years. She was in the away end for our game earlier in the season and if you look closely when Vardy got the record breaker you can see her giving him the V's. The most annoying thing is she is going to the game in a couple of weeks and I couldn't get a ticket!
ramboacdc Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 I read that quickly as 'current mrs is in a convent' I'm so glad it wasn't just me. wouldn't mind the uniform. i can lower the tone of the whole thread by posting pics of her in a leicester shirt?

David Guiza Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 The best I can get out of mine is that she appreciates how a club of our size is doing so well. She is from Milton Keynes though so I put it down to her being a product of her environment.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 I did with an ex. She was a Leicester fan so it helped . Would happily take my current girlfriend as she likes football too. This! Quite lucky, I've been to games with the missus a few times and she always enjoys herself and has always been a Leicester fan. She never bothers reading up on us though and I had to explain to her who Kante was about 15 games into the season Before that I've only ever been to games with friends, family or on my own. To drag someone along who has no interest could easily backfire, having to explain the rules of the game or any of that shit
cambridgefox Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 What a waste of a ticket. Because of the travelling my Mrs has dropped me off and gone shopping and then I can have a few beers. Years ago I took an ex away to Ipswich,I was a bank manager in those days( hated it) and I was her boss.If I remember rightly Ian Marshall got a couple for Ipswich and ran to us away supporters, I leant forward to give him a polite hand gesture as she moved towards me and whacked her on the side of the head. She did say I was a totally different person and our fans were scary( one head butted a metal post and wanted to fight the police) Monday was fun at work, with her telling everyone what I was like. Weird thing was living in Cambridge you don't get too many Leicester fans, but there were 4 of us out of probably 60 staff at one point.Although I was the only one not from Leicester, but the only one that went.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 Took my beloved to a 4-0 victory over QPR years ago. It may have been a strangely boring win given the margin, but she didn't even stand up when we scored. A level of detachment that can only be achieved by the truly indifferent
Manwell Pablo Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 She's been a few times (both home and away to be fair to her). Absolutely no chance these days as if I'm at football she's with the kids........Ironically I think she was proper getting into it at one point we want up to the John Smiths in the FA cup when we drew 1-1 and actually wanted to go to London road the next week but we found out she was up the duff during that week and without going into too much detail we decided football stadiums (especially Peterborough away) were probably places she was best to avoid for the foreseeable. She's not exactly a fan of the game, I think it's more the atmosphere and some of head cases that go to football games that interest her.
RonnieTodger Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 Took her to the Spurs cup game. She's never coming to a City game again.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 She's never coming again. Good god what did you do to her?
RonnieTodger Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 Good god what did you do to her? Haha her whole family are Forest fans too, did not go down well.
General Smuts Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 Took my ex to a total of 2 games ever - her first being the Levi Porter Chelsea game at Stamford Bridge which she loved. The second being a 0-0 draw with Cardiff where Kasper saved everything for them. She hated that and never went again.
martyn Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 My wife moved over to England from Mexico in 2007. She is genuinely as passionate about LCFC as I am now and has had a season ticket for 4 years with me. First away game she went to with me was the 6-1 defeat at Portsmouth under Sousa. Her Dad who can't speak a word of English has just jetted over here for 2 weeks, just so he can watch the games against West Ham and Swansea (as well as the other less important matter of seeing his daughter). He first went to a game in League 1 where Steve Howard headed the last minute winner against Leeds, and hasn't missed any televised Leicester game since. His patrons at his restaurant in Mexico City are now forced to watch the Leicester games over breakfast (Los Caporales it's called, if you ever happen to be in Mexico City!)..
foxoffderby Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 No way. Football is me time. Plus she would ask too many questions and give me a headache.
RowlattsFox Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 My girlfriend likes to tag along with me at times, likes the away trips but I do have to remind her I'm not getting into a city early so I can go shopping and look around. Has to be a good game or atmosphere to keep her interested. She did fall asleep once at home to Birmingham a couple of years ago, did have a drink or two though.

LutterworthLCFC Posted 15 April 2016 Posted 15 April 2016 Took my girlfriend to the West Ham cup game earlier on in the season, she didn't understand why it went to extra time.
Vicki Vixen Posted 15 April 2016 Posted 15 April 2016 Took my missus to the following games: Watford away, 3-2 loss on a Tuesday night. Those were the days when you could pay for City away games on the turnstile. A couple of guys behind us were singing "Ashley Cole, he's a fookin arsehole" on repeat for the whole second half. Reading away, 3-1 loss. Danns scored a consolation goal but we were outplayed and outfought and the whole thing was a shambles. Again we paid on the turnstile, I think there were less than 1000 city fans there that day. Amazing to think games like this were only 4 yrs ago when you think where we are now. Middlesbrough home, 1-0, the Sky game that should have been called off as the whole city was a skating rink. Stadium was about a third full, we had a whole row of the Kop to ourselves. QPR away, 1-0 win, the squirrel episode. She got cheap tickets in the home end off Groupon. It's hard enough to sit with the opposition fans, but ten times worse with the missus next to you. Jesus... Anyway, she said afterwards, "Is it only Leicester fans that are so loud at games?" which I obviously enjoyed. Palace home this season, 1-0 win. This frequency of taking the missus once a season or so feels about right.
Dr The Singh Posted 15 April 2016 Posted 15 April 2016 My Mrs will only go to a game if it's in a corporate box, of which she has been a few times. The mistress however is up for anything.........
goose2010 Posted 15 April 2016 Posted 15 April 2016 Surely she is giving you hers for it? Not a chance! They haven't missed a game in years I don't think I could sit in the home end anyway will settle for it on TV somewhere in Leicester.
Jattdogg Posted 15 April 2016 Posted 15 April 2016 Well its hard to fly over to england to catch a game with the mrs. She went with me to a local toronto FC MLS game few years back and didnt mind it but the atmosphere is nothing like that at the KP. Plus she had too many questions (north american raised women tsk). When i was in England last season went with my older bro instead. Funny thing is i have caught her mumbling/singing "we're gunna win da league" at least 5 times in the last few weeks. Shes learned to appreciate my passion of lcfc after all the years ive known her.
