SpinneyHillRanger Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 For those who judge games by stats... Spurs only had 2 shots on target in a game that they had to win
KFS Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 I'm actually embarrassed to be a Leicester fan after tonight. We've been very very lucky in a freak season. Next season, I still think we will finish bottom half, because we will regress to the mean. I'd love us to sustain it, but let's not kid ourselves. We could even go down next season, in fact, it's worth seeing what the odds are My worry now is that Mahrez will get snapped up by Spuds! This is your first reaction Mr Spurs fan? More vocal on here than in the ground it seems... Might have helped you to a win but ne'mind eh.
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 On Sky Sports News now, surely that's a ban. He might be talented but he's also a smarmy little oik.Still don't know how he got away with shoving Chilwell over in the cup game, went off laughing and joking with the ref, has to be a ban.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Like I said... Spurs have dropped points in 15 games this season, that's more than one in three games and yet everyone seems to think they'll win their 4 remaining games. The same people seem convinced that we will drop more points than we have on average over our next 3 games. Your average City fan is such a pessimist. Winning 6 games on the trot (which is what Spurs will do if they win all their remaining games) is harder than you would think, only 8 clubs have done it in the Premier League... though, given, one of them was Spurs in 2011 (a la Gareth Bale), but that shows that it's a fairly rare occurance. I strongly suspect that Spurs will drop points, but if they don't, I think the game against Chelsea will be interesting in terms of exactly how hard they (Chelsea) try to win.
4everfox Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Profited £140 on a £10 bet on this bad boy. Thank you West Brom, Thank you Craig Dawson, thank you Tony Pulis. Spurs can't wait to have a look on their forum.
ceredigion Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Spurs will never win the League again. Only won it twice in recorded history which is pathetic for a so-called massive club. There's more chance of us retaining the title next season than there is of Spurs winning the league in the next 100 years.
sishades Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Andy Goldstein on Talksport is very very pissed off and is picking a fight with Jason Cundy. Great stuff
The Guvnor Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Ha Ha Sourness, his face is contorted with rage, I really think he needs counselling.
steflcfc Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Alli has to face some sort of reprecussion. You cannot punch players in the stomach. He is young and needs to learn. Now he is in the England set up u have to behave professionally, hence why Vardy is being given the ban. There's having bite...but going about it in the right way. I'm sure if that was one of our players we would be having the FA on our tails
Kitchandro Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 So they had the ref giving them literally every decision and they still bottled it
bluebeau Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 I can't stand that twat Souness. He absolutely hates it if he has to give City any credit. You can tell that there is no way he wants us to win the Prem. League. He was a dirty cheating bastard as a player. Well done the Baggies!
Dr The Singh Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 TBF Spurs attacking flowing football was fantastic to watch and it's only right they didn't try and hold on to the 1-0 win because that's just anti football. Great own goal for Spurs too....much deserved, 1st slice of luck all season, why didn't WBA lie down like Swansea? Wish they had a 40 year Old villa reject in goal like Stoke did. Also there is no way Deli Ali should be punished, punching another player is no way near as bad as swearing at the ref......but i think they will win all 3 remaining games and we will lose our 3 remaining games and Spurs will be deservedly be made champions because in most of the games this season they have had most of the possession. Love the username, not far from the truth
ThaiFox Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 I'm sure Ranieri will be reminding the players we haven't won anything yet. We must not take our foot off the gas. This game can kick you in the face big time and gloating (just remember Villa fans at 2-0 up at the KP, where are they now) gets you nowhere, Also, be lovely to win it by several points, so no-one can say we were lucky. How fantastic if we won it at Man Ure on Sunday!
SpursInPeace Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Be humble in victory and defeat my friend. Spurs are a very good side, just bad day at the office for them fortunately. There are plenty of people on this board who could heed this advice. Unfortunately it seems impossible for some of you regardless of how complimentary the Spurs fans on this board have been of your team. It's a shame.
Zabbasbeard_MCFC Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Almost yours now. Really hope you do it. Never had a problem with you Foxes. Tottenham on the other hand...hated them since they beat us in the 81 Cup Final and were arrogant and obnoxious in victory. You played us off the park at our place - yes it hurt because I want to win the League more than anything while we have our time in the sunshine, but like many, I'll be pleased for you winning this title, if/when you do...fingers crossed for you. Just get those three points at Old Trafford - doing what you did to us would do us a massive favour too - and most of the country will drink to your success. Wish you well. CTID
GloverFox Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 .... Ha ha ha ... I just love the over-exuberance and passion free flow on here tonight ! .... Brilliant job from Pulis and his team, not forgetting the job they did on us! Well done West Brom ... Really Well Done. Now let's be totally honest about Tottenham this season, although we've beaten them when it mattered they have been very, very good this season .... and whilst I truly believe we should be the champions we haven't won it yet ... now is the time to stay grounded and concentrate, we need maximum support and noise for the lads come what may and everything being equal we will be the champions. But one comment tonight that as soooo true was the hesitant, lacking support from the Tottenham supporters when the team was very flat and needed the lift .... That's not the Leicester way, we will never quit .... Maximum noise, maximum effort and maximum gain and three big teams to come, no complacency ....
yorkie1999 Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Spurs crowd can take some of the blame for that. Never once got behind them when it got tricky in the 2nd half.Too true.
Oxshottfox Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Can anyone get into the floppy cock forum? It seems like someone has flounced off in a strop with the key to the Internet or are they using Amstrad technology still?
Wycombe Fox Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 If I was a Spurs fan I'd be more worried about dropping out of the top three
Guest BlueBrett Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 So they had the ref giving them literally every decision and they still bottled it when dembele nearly breaks someone's leg and get a free kick for it
SpursInPeace Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Spurs will never win the League again. Only won it twice in recorded history which is pathetic for a so-called massive club. There's more chance of us retaining the title next season than there is of Spurs winning the league in the next 100 years. Id be surprised if you finish above us again next season. Young squad lacking experience on a night like tonight Some of you could do with being a bit more humble in victory considering where you've come from. By all means enjoy the moment in the sun but don't become arse holes.
