Tottenham v WBA

I hope it's Everton, mainly because it's at the KP and it's a Saturday so we can all get pissed with no serious repercussions.

Not that you can't do that on a Sunday...but you know.

Bank Holiday next weekend mate, no repucussions at all, let's get this thing won

Spurs fan tv was disappointing. No impassioned rants. Only optimism about the future kind of stuff.

Yeah...  a bit. I admire it though. Bravo to them for being positive. I'd be a wreck.

I think it is time to stop trying to wind each other up. Even if they continue to whine about possession or playing prettier football. It was all fun when there was a race to be won, but now that we can walk over the line, what's the point? Let's be proud for our team. Let them be proud for theirs - at the end of the season, they'll probably finish 2nd ahead of everyone else, so bravo to their team.

The Fighting Cock - Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) forum - error

Big error.

Top debut post!

Yes it is down, but this place never goes down for more than a few minutes... I think they've pulled the plug as they can't take any pisstakery on a night like this

Or maybe the rest of their fans pulled the plug on them to spare the club's reputation.

Just got in from a boat party! What was the score?

Wait for result first at old trafford, because its not over yet, points wise.!!!

King Dicks last forage into old traitorous Lancastrian territory.

Might need a good swig of 'Vardy volley'

Amazing tonight, through all commentators and Pundits alike, they have

suddenly lost their zing, their mojo.!! Not very proffesional for neutrals,

is it..??? Or even !!!

Tomorrow mornings sports commentators and pundits will be very interesting.!!!

Souness and Carragher sound utterly gutted.

That's what I truly can't understand. I turned on to Sky Sports News and even my wife said they both looked as though they'd personally received terrible news...

Cannot believe they are so lacking in good grace and humility towards us. I mean, we played some of the toughest arrangement of fixtures - Chelsea, Everton (away), Liverpool (away) all in a row back (in Dec). Then Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal in a row (in Feb). Then Saints, Sunderland (battling to avoid the drop) and West Ham in a row, etc, etc... And still no respect or goodwill from them?!! Sod them ,eh?!!

Think we are being a little bit over sensitive. I know Souness is far from complementary about us but even he said a few times tonight that we have been the best team (not best to watch I admit) and praised how we could win games 1-0 whereas Spurs couldn't. He also said we are technically a long ball team but it is exciting to watch. Carragher gave a little more praise and I've always thought he has been fairly positive about us. I think them seeming so glum is because they work in TV and the title race is almost over with 3 games to go. They are probably even told to hype up Spurs catching us to get more viewers in (Title Race Drama etc), but they can't now. Just my thoughts anyway. We will be positively talked about for years to come if we can cross the line  :D

So happy with the result, we are very very very close now!!.  West Brom were almost the perfect team to help us tonight, because they are a very defensive team and crowd all the space and are very frustrating to play against, I remember how frustrating it was when we played them at King Power. they are a annoying team to face, if you don't score early against them it gets frustrating.  so happy.. we are nearly there now. Nothing can stop the journey now

Sorry if someone has already brought this up, I've not read the thread yet. but...do you remember at the halfway point of the season when we achieved 40 points? Claudio was asked what the new target was. He said something to the effect of "We achieve 39 points after half the season, so 40 for the next half". And here we are when 79 points is the number we will need to be confirmed champions. Amazing.

Like our ground during Newcastle, fans really have a party to play don't they. So if it's manure or the toffees at home. Let's keep the noise up

Actually it is a good sign for them. Shows maturity and vision.... my 2 pence. Think they will be team to beat next season

Some great defending by West Brom and by far the better team in the second half. yacob played Alli perfectly and what a save from Myhill early doors.

Well done Leicester. That's it over now. I fully expect you to beat United after that.

Respect to you for having the humility to come on here. Ignore some of the OTT spurs comments. When the Dust has settled and in the cold light of day, you're the only team we've been worried about for months. Every spurs fan I've met in person has been decent, just a shame you've had an over weighting of dumbos on your forum, but we have some too. If we win, every team in the league will benefit for what it means.. Bigger teams will hlknow they will have to put in a shift every time and the rest of us will know anything is possible. COYB!!!

Bad night at the office for us. Even our own posts didn't want us to score.

Hopefully we can actually beat you next season eh?

You probably all felt how I feel now after WBA did the same thing to you. Devastated but you deserve to be where you are. Just hope we can finish above Arsenal now.

I've got a feeling West Brom are going to pinch something here.

The only thing they could possibly pinch would be something from the changing room.

This will be a walk in the park for Spurs. Minimum 4  nil win for them.
