Fox92 Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Apart from the Chelsea game I can't see them dropping points. Tottenham are much better than Chelsea.
Shelf Side Spurs Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Tottenham are much better than Chelsea. You're right.....this season anyway, but they are on form and the last time we won at Stamford Bridge was a very, very long time ago. We'll see, need to beat WBA first anyway.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Tottenham are much better than Chelsea.Doesn't matter if Chelsea play better than normal and Spuds have an off day then it could be a tight game WBA get a result tonight and Chelsea beat spuds next week (I know it's unlikely blah blah blah)
CollinsLCFC Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Berahino to score anytime and WBA to win at 40-1, worth a flutter?
Carl the Llama Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Berahino to score anytime and WBA to win at 40-1, worth a flutter? No. West Brom are a joke side, wouldn't be surprised to see the biggest Spurs win of the season tonight. Edit: Still can't believe we've not taken 6 points off them this year. Crazy season.
pleatout Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 I'm just hoping WBA can hang on for 60 or 70 minutes. That's when it might dawn on Spuds that a draw is no good. 8 points behind with 9 left to play for or 7 with 9 really makes no odds. They've got to pull it back to 5 . All square with 20 mins left, and then a bit of space might open up. <and in the real world> fully expect Spuds to have it wrapped up 3-0 by halftime.

I genuinely think Spurs will win 6-0 tonightThat said I'm am still hoping and praying WBA play out of their skins and get an unlikely draw
ARM1968 Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 To be honest I imagine our win yesterday completely gutted the Spuds players. Every time they think they're getting close we pull even further ahead. Yesterday was psychologically crucial I believe.
thursday_next Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 I'm just hoping WBA can hang on for 60 or 70 minutes. ........and cause heart attacks on Foxestalk. I'm not sure I wouldn't prefer them to go 2 up in the first ten minutes, so we can get out a DVD instead, one that features cool running waters, pleasant scenes and a blissfully relaxing atmosphere. Something like 'Mad Max' would do.
STUHILL Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Defend like their live's depend on it and look to score from set plays. That is Pulis all over. If they concede then game over. Spurs will relax and runaway with it. Keep it tight and you just never know!!
J.Lisemore Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Wanting a player to get injured, other than Jack Wilshere is pretty low. We should win comfortably tonight. Our players have responded well in recent weeks to your results and we are a good team. An early goal and I expect another 3 or 4 to follow. I hate WBA and any Pulis side to be honest. They are disgusting to play against as you guys found a few weeks back. Yeah I do agree, wishing injury on him was harsh, but that just indicates how annoyingly good he's become. As it goes, I think you'll dick them 3 or 4-0.

AyewJoking Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 i'll be at work tonight but there is a wba fan there so im sure he'll keep me updated. if spurs draw or (please god) they lose, i'll have to have a sit down.
kingcarr21 Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Spurs wont even score tonight. There I said it. 0-0 draw and Leicester laughing all the way to the title
Dodgy Bob Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Expecting spurs to win but I'm not that bothered and won't be watching. It's in our hands.
Simi Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 I've got a feeling West Brom are going to pinch something here.
Gerard Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 if there is one result I could choose this season it would be for West Brom to win tonight. The most important game left this season is Chelsea vs Tottenham. If Tottenham win that then it's game on as far as the title is concerned. I will literally go out and dance in the street if West Brom get a result tonight.
ronnup Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Were dreaming if we think this'll be anything but a convincing Spurs victory.
SpursInPeace Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Yeah I do agree, wishing injury on him was harsh, but that just indicates how annoyingly good he's become. As it goes, I think you'll dick them 3 or 4-0. No worries. I know how these things go. Heat of the moment posts usually. Cheers.
norwichfox Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 my thoughts are please don't lets have a Tottenham v Chelski thread, the Tottenham v Stoke was torture.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Spurs have dropped points in 15 games this season, that's more than one in three games and yet everyone seems to think they'll win their 4 remaining games. The same people seem convinced that we will drop more points than we have on average over our next 3 games. Your average City fan is such a pessimist. Winning 6 games on the trot (which is what Spurs will do if they win all their remaining games) is harder than you would think, only 8 clubs have done it in the Premier League... though, given, one of them was Spurs in 2011 (a la Gareth Bale), but that shows that it's a fairly rare occurance. I strongly suspect that Spurs will drop points, but if they don't, I think the game against Chelsea will be interesting in terms of exactly how hard they (Chelsea) try to win.
Domsdad Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 Baggies won this game 1-0 last season! Spurs booed off the pitch! Oh for a repeat

I think it's the fact Spurs now don't have any competition distractions and their very recent form has shown they are dispatching teams very easily. The top teams tend to turn it on at this stage of the season, as their step up and their opponents switch off. It's not pessimist to say they'll win all four, it's extremely realistic. They'll be 1-0 up inside 15 minutes tonight I suspect, sweeping 3-0 or 5-0 win I'd say. No reason for WBA to put up any more of a fight than they did against Arsenal four days ago. It'll be a walk in the park.
AKCJ Posted 25 April 2016 Posted 25 April 2016 WBA haven't been beaten at WHL in ages apparently. Admittedly it's a different Spurs side these days.
