They just wheeled about 8 industrial bbq's into the training ground.
There's a few empty packets of Jerk Spice flying about.
I can smell the chicken from here.
Susan's there.  Of course she is.

Man like Musa is about to be announced.

Latest update - bottles of Lilt and UmBongo and Rum have been seen making their way into the training ground.
He may not be Caribbean, but the Moose knows how to throw a party.

Apparently Jay Jay Okocha is en route in the chopper too.

He's looking for one more year in the Prem.

At 29 years old, he'd do a job.

Hi Babs,

I told you this would be futile but I suspect you:

a. need to be 'right',

b. need to be liked,

c. believe you're smarter than you actually are and

d. feel insecure when someone you encounter appears to be smarter than you consider yourself to be.

Your words "pseudo intellectual piffle" and "presuming to know what I think" couldn't advertise your own intellectual anxieties better if you'd put them on a advertising hoarding. As a result, out come your big guns to quieten the threatening voice. Only they're not so big. I don't feel personally attacked, I feel annoyed by your need to fulfil condition a. above. The phrase "it's a slow day, I'll give it a go" also evidences your continuing need to 'win' this contretemps - demonstrating to all around how you're going to deal with this know-it-all prig.

I didn't take your initial responses as a personal attack but your explanation was so banal and simplistic I felt moved to respond more expansively. But I didn't like the tone of your response, either. I think I stated that I found your use of the words "trust" and "faith" inappropriate.

And here I am, proven to be correct in my suspicion - because this latest response is full of ill-directed bile, barely disguised malice and whingeing self-justification. Well, you've been voted up by two sympathetic souls - that should mollify item b. above. Did that make you feel better?

As for ranting - you're getting quite a bit of that in, yourself.

Yet - in all of the ill-composed analysis/opinion/disparagement/self-exculpation - you begin to demonstrate some understanding - in what you wrote about Kramaric. Well done. I also like the fact that you use the words "hyperbole" and "shit" in the same post. You could be the next D.H.Lawrence.

I anticipate your next response with dread and delight. Toodle pip.

The narrative of this post basically displays all the qualities that you holding Babylon to ransom for!

Nothing like a bit of casual racism to welcome an incoming player eh?

I'm not sure if its worthy of the term, most of the inept comments on here just demonstrate an ignorance toward any kind of international understanding!

Take a look through the whole chain of posts. It would be quite funny if it wasn't quite so sad.

He's on block anyway, so I'm glad he wasted his time.

Ssssshhhh, Swan Lesta! Don't alarm him. I happen to be enjoying Gerbold quite a bit. If we can just sit here very quietly, he'll only get worse, until his sentences get increasingly reminiscent of Henry James under class A drugs. I would like that. Don't block him, Babylon!

If this is what being intelligence is, I'm happy being thick. Football isn't complicated and you don't need that much intelligence to understand it, so why you are having this ridiculous argument I don't know. lol

Well it looks like that post went down well.

Anyway... could we stick to Musa from now on before Mark sees this thread and bans us all.

Although that would be harsh after about 800 pages of #MedicalBanter lol
