Ok - Babylon - looks like you're spoiling for a scrap so I'll oblige.

You use the word "we" a lot and, although we, as fans, identify ourselves strongly with the club, you're in no position to say what Inler is "meant to be", The Club knew all his attributes before they bought his services. You weren't involved in the considerations which led to his hiring so you know feck-all about what the Club's intentions were or are.

He's spent his career playing as a DM, it's somewhat unlikely we signed him to play left back. It's called an educated guess.

I didn't think the team and manager were overly interested in defending a lead - that's not something I've seen or perceived in the matches they were involved in last season. They have a go-for-it attitude that belies your assertion. So I think you're creating a highly unlikely theory to suit your nonsensical assertions. He has been on the bench - which indicates Claudio has had enough "trust" in him to have him ready to go on in the event of a necessity.

Ok, I disagree and saw us do it quite a few times. But lets just stick to facts then, he was barely even making the bench at the end of the season. With King and Amartey preferred.

You were the one who mentioned selling him so I thought you'd understand what I meant about there possibly not being a need to transfer him, there being a substantial amount of money 'in the coffers' to support a larger squad.

Of course I'm aware we're under no financial strain to get rid, the whole point was coming from the angle that the club would no longer want him. Based on him not playing or even making the bench and us since signing two DM's since his arrival and subsequent vanishing from the first team scene.

I can't help it if you don't understand what I'm getting at - maybe you're just not bright enough to do so, but are in the unenviable position that you think you are and hence take exception to anyone who can express themselves more effectively than you appear able to.

Stop talking absolute piffle.

Lets go back to basics here. You wondered why he was still in the squad, I said it's probably because he hasn't been sold yet. THE END.

You might be right, I might be right... we might never know

Has he arrived for his 17 medicals yet?

Had his first yesterday, his second he has just passed and I'm hearing tomorrow and Thursday's are scheduled ready for the deal to be completed Monday, following Friday Saturday and Sunday being spent having mental assessments! lol

His Budgie was at the vets today and apart from a beak trim, got the all clear. This will be done and dusted by Friday.

lets hope we block any involvement with him going to the Olympics (august 2-20)

Think he got omitted from Olympic squad although not 100% sure about that

Kinda bored reading you two argue but I have to say, for once, that babylon is in the right this time.

Back to musa then, eh?

I'll tell you one thing. There is no chance Musa is actually 23, he's about 27. Nigerian footballers are infamous for being years older than they claim to be.

No chance...right. Absolutely no chance...ok then.
