FireFox Posted 13 May 2016 Posted 13 May 2016 Eden Hazard looks to be in great form after disappearing for most of the year. But on the other hand, Terry is out for the game (red card). Ivanovic (injured against Sunderland), Costa (hamstring injury in practice) and Pedro (broken nose) might all be out as well. So we'll likely be going up against a lot of their young players, so I'd expect us to come away with a win in this one. Surely he can join the Chelsea tradition of playing in a mask?
Detroit Blues Posted 13 May 2016 Posted 13 May 2016 Surely he can join the Chelsea tradition of playing in a mask? If he can breathe well enough, sure. But since it's the last game of the season and they have nothing to play for, I'd imagine he would sit.
weller54 Posted 14 May 2016 Author Posted 14 May 2016 Wasyl's last game for us? Shame he couldn't have gone out with a bang by smashing Costa to bits!!
Wes Posted 14 May 2016 Posted 14 May 2016 Anything happening at the stag tomorrow? I know the game isn't on TV but was thinking of heading over anyway.
lcfcfoz Posted 14 May 2016 Posted 14 May 2016 Would kasper get a clean sheet if he was subbed immediately? To get his 16th

brucey Posted 14 May 2016 Posted 14 May 2016 I'd really love it if the entire ground (both home and away fans) sings the 'Ranieri, oooooh' chant and also the 'Blue is the Colour' song together tomorrow. I feel that we should field whichever XI gives Vardy/Kasper the best chance of the Golden Boot/Glove awards. Even if that means no reserve/youth players.
Foxfan501 Posted 14 May 2016 Posted 14 May 2016 I remember looking at the last 3 going to old Trafford then Everton followed by Chelsea hoping we wouldn't need any points When the fixtures were released I looked at the last game and thought... oh shit, Chelsea away, we're ****ed.
dylanlegend Posted 15 May 2016 Posted 15 May 2016 Today we should concentrate on Vardy pipping Kane to the golden boot, that would wipe the smile off that greedy get!! Vardy hat-trick
dylanlegend Posted 15 May 2016 Posted 15 May 2016 Can't understand why they are showing the West Ham game on SS but not this? West Ham can't even make top 4 with their GD
MC Prussian Posted 15 May 2016 Posted 15 May 2016 Wishing for an entertaining game, an exciting match of football to end the season on a high note with a Chelsea - Leicester love-in, plenty of goals on both sides (or at least on ours) and Vardy to score at least twice in order to overtake Harry Kane in the goalscoring table and win the title in that department (provided the latter doesn't find the net away at Newcastle).
Kitchandro Posted 15 May 2016 Posted 15 May 2016 If Gray was to start who would peeps leave out, Mahrez or Okazaki? I'd like to see Schlupp start again, he is the future and should be moving ahead of Albrighton in the pecking order. If he could only add shooting properly to his game he'd be priceless. 1-1 Just....like...what? I can't believe people can watch us all season and come to conclusions like this. Flabbergasting.
Jaspa Posted 15 May 2016 Posted 15 May 2016 Would really want to win this, sends a message were about even more than this season. Chelsea have nothing to play for but pride and honour, it could be a special game. Wasil did well last week but Everton arent Chelsea, so we need him at his best. Pity theres no Wasil vs Costa today either
davieG Posted 15 May 2016 Posted 15 May 2016 Chelsea will honour former Blues boss Claudio Ranieri at Stamford Bridge today when the Italian's Premier League-winning side Leicester City visit west London. Last season's champions, Chelsea, are expected to form a guard of honour to welcome Leicester - who won their first league title in their 132-year history recently - to the Bridge on Sunday afternoon. Not only will the Chelsea players congratulate the Foxes squad on becoming only the sixth club to win the title in the Premier League era, but the Blues have also confirmed that the team will pay tribute to Ranieri's achievements this season. The Italian, who coached Chelsea between 2000 and 2004, is the first former Chelsea manager to win the Premier League with another side in England, and the Blues will welcome him back to Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon by giving him a special presentation before the game to hail his achievements with Leicester. The match will also give Chelsea the chance to cement their spot in ninth place in the Premier League standings should they beat Leicester, although the Blues can be caught by 10th-placed Stoke if the Potters beat West Ham at home and Chelsea fail to win.
Foxxed Posted 15 May 2016 Posted 15 May 2016 I can understand why Ranners wants us to keep playing consistently as champions, but I do hope he gives Gray, Amartey, Chilwell or anyone else more than five minutes this match. It'll be good to put on a good display going into the the post-season competitions and looking towards next season.
jammie82uk Posted 15 May 2016 Posted 15 May 2016 It's the final Stat time Chelsea had won six straight league games against Leicester City before the Foxes' 2-1 win back in December. Leicester City have lost just two of their last 21 Barclays Premier League away games (W13 D6 L2). The Foxes will end the season with the most points away from home in the Premier League this season (38 currently). Chelsea have won just five Premier League games at home this season; against the bottom four and Arsenal. The Foxes have played seven away matches on the final day of a Premier League campaign, winning just one (W1 D1 L5). The Blues have gone 11 Premier League matches at Stamford Bridge without a clean sheet. Leicester have equalled the record for penalties won in a single Premier League season (13), set by Crystal Palace in 2004-05. Chelsea have played at home on the final day more than any other team in Premier League history (15 times W11 D2 L2). Claudio Ranieri can register his 100th Premier League win in this game (W99 D48 L36), thus becoming the 18th manager to hit that milestone in the competition. If Wes Morgan plays the full 90 minutes in this game he'll become only the third outfield player to play every minute of a Premier League title-winning season (after Gary Pallister in 92/93 and John Terry in 14/15).
dylanlegend Posted 15 May 2016 Posted 15 May 2016 We will start as normal, there is no way CR will put in players like Chilwell, Amartey to start etc. He will keep consistent and try to stay at only 3 losses all season. That is an achievement in itself!!
Will1981 Posted 15 May 2016 Posted 15 May 2016 full strength team to start and then bring Schwartzer on for Okazaki on the hour and let Schmeichel play the last half hour up front with Vardy.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 15 May 2016 Posted 15 May 2016 Come on Leicester Strong performance today please Up the Foxes
