We get a huge fee and couple years of magic. Im good with that, he would get way more exposure here than in the Bundesliga, Ligue 1, or Li Liga. So to summarize: Development check, exposure/brand check, playing time check, Champions league Check. What else do you need as a young upcomming player?

In so much as that we outbid any rival clubs for him and his selling club plays hardball with his preferred club. The difference now being that we can offer him champions league football and french geezers to talk to to sweeten the deal which of course we could not with Aranguiz..

Richmondfox Posted 9 May 2016 Posted 9 May 2016 This would be an outrageous signing, hopefully the club can find a way to make this happen. Dortmund have bid a low amount to test the water and turn the players head, If the club really want him they will have to meet the price which Rennes value him (30M Euro?). If we don't get him or he isn't interested then at least we'll have bumped the price up for other clubs, hopefully the club don't waste their time like with Aranguiz.
