Langston Posted 13 May 2016 Posted 13 May 2016 It is being suggested the deal is done, now onto a midfield free kick specialist. http://playingfor90.com/2016/05/13/arsenal-lose-out-to-leicester-city-in-race-for-striker/ They're just quoting the Express article, don't get too excited.
Guest the fox Posted 14 May 2016 Posted 14 May 2016 many sources said that the club have activated the release clause that is £23m/€30m . some of the sources as far as i know are pretty reliable like goal uk https://twitter.com/search?q=slimani&src=typd.lisbon daily https://twitter.com/LisbonDaily/status/731268568608702464 .... dorsetboy Posted 14 May 2016 Posted 14 May 2016 hope we get this guy and musa and keep kante because our team will just be full of pace and aggression to think we could go from our last league 1 game in 2008 Leicester: Gradel, Oakley, King, Dyer, Fryatt, Howard to a possible musa , kante, drinkwater , mahrez ,,vardy,,slimani
SpinneyHillRanger Posted 14 May 2016 Posted 14 May 2016 I was hoping for lapadula and deeney. £23 million is too much IMO. We should go for players under £20 million. Lapadula shouldn't cost more than £10 million. Deeney not more than £15 million.

TheLittleBigMan Posted 14 May 2016 Posted 14 May 2016 I'd take lapadula ahead of him. Think he could be something special. Agree 23 mil too much.
limeydale Posted 14 May 2016 Posted 14 May 2016 80% of those goalkeepers were real shite the rest were rather ordinary, so the question will be can he score against Prem league caliber goalies?
truebluethroughandthrough Posted 14 May 2016 Posted 14 May 2016 Slimani & Musa sounds more exciting then Deeney & Lapadula !!Vardy and slimani sounds even better.Literally, rolls off the tongue.....
Chester Dontlie Posted 14 May 2016 Posted 14 May 2016 He's 78 overall in FIFA 16, but his pace is only 72. Even Leo would outrun him! He's having the season of his life apparently but £23m/€30m is quite a lot for 27-year old from Portuguese league. I wouldn't mind Deeney tbh... if he comes for £10m or so
Guest the fox Posted 14 May 2016 Posted 14 May 2016 He's 78 overall in FIFA 16, but his pace is only 72. Even Leo would outrun him! taking a EA game as a reference . (i will humor you . he have 4 IF's and gonna have a TOTS that is 89/90)

Lapadula shouldn't cost more than £10 million. Deeney not more than £15 million. you rather take 1 unknown straker and a 1 good season striker than a 26 goals in 32/33 games striker . how is playing in the high level for 3 years and played 2 african cup of nation and a world cup I'd take lapadula ahead of him. Think he could be something special. Agree 23 mil too much. we should stop thinking like a championship level and start thinking like a EPL champions /CL team

You've heard how good we are at unearthing gems right?
FireFox Posted 14 May 2016 Posted 14 May 2016 Every transfer window, hell, even before it opens. This will be locked or merged. Keep it to the transfer section until on the OS.
Hotdogsandwich69 Posted 14 May 2016 Posted 14 May 2016 Imagine if Leicester get Ghoulam to succeed Fuchs. And Taider to rotate with Drinkwater, King, and Kante. Christ, we're everywhere.

GaelicFox Posted 14 May 2016 Posted 14 May 2016 Why don't we just move the KP to Algeria I don't think this Silimi will cut it in England , space is tight , defenders not mugs and keepers world class At 10m I'd say have a gamble At 23m I say .... Too expensive move on

mozartfox Posted 14 May 2016 Posted 14 May 2016 Are you his agent ? If you are, give Jordan Veretout a call, he could use someone like you...............
mozartfox Posted 14 May 2016 Posted 14 May 2016 In Walsh we trust Yep. Lets leave recruitment to Walsh and his team. Football is all about opinions. My opinion is Walsh knows more than 99% of FT members when it comes to selecting players that have our DNA. If Peter Taylor was head of recruitment I would be slitting my wrists. He is not. So lets all wait and see. Relax. The top teams in Portugal would probably make a good fist of the EPL. They would have more money to spend for starters.
oldbluefox Posted 14 May 2016 Posted 14 May 2016 If we sign this guy for £23million and he turns out to be as good as we think he is, it will have been a shrewd bit of business when you compare him with some of the exorbitant prices the big clubs have paid. We'll just have to wait and see.
foxes21 Posted 14 May 2016 Posted 14 May 2016 People worrying about the price tag, Stoke just spent 18million on Imbula. And after our exploits this season we must be in a much healthier position financially, then Stoke. So we shouldn't worry too much about spending 23million.
