In that case Kante is not world class but it's not a definition you'll share with many others.

Where have you got 5 players from? Until his injury, Diarra was ahead of Kante in the French national team, surely if he was " world class" he would have been first choice?

£20m is about right. RVP went to United for £24m at 29 as well and and he is better than Vardy.

It's not about right when every premier league team have a 100m quid each from sky. If we had to replace him we would have to spend an absolute fortune .People were saying we were gonna bid 25m for Shane long. Imagine selling Vardy for 20m then spending 25 on him .Nightmare .

For Mahrez to be world class he has to produce it over 2-3 seasons. Was Michael Rickett world class? None of our players are world class until they do it over 2-3 seasons.

Kante has had 1 excellent season, as did Ricketts??? I said, if you can read, to become world class its over a prolonged period, not 33 games.

Our 132 year hoodoo is now broken. Vardy has a choice. If he moves on, then so do we. He is already immortal in Leicester so if he goes, he goes. If anyone can get us another top 4 finish it is Ranieri. He is the most important man to keep at the club.

Exactly this. Super Kev was the prems top scorer, he wasn't world class either.

Hes pretty much done it over 2 seasons. Was voted Algeria player of the year, PFA player of the year. And is in his mid 20's. The KP comparison is ridiculous. You're a troll, but i dont mind arguing cos your replies are so fcuking stupid

My worry would be the aftershock. IF Vardy leaves, could this see others like Mahrez, Kanté, Drinky think about moving as well.

Yeah this is the big worry. Now the shocks worn off (he could have dialled down the whole 'why would anyone leave' stuff a few weeks back ffs!) he clearly wants his payday, and at 29 when his game is all about pace this is his last chance to get it. It's annoying but if we're not willing to match 140k then fair play to him.

Thinking about it more, I'm not sure we'll be able to play in the same way as last season next year anyway - every team will be dropping off like they did at the end of last season when we were grinding out those 1-0s. As great as vardy is at what he does, he's not *that* adaptable. I'm not sure he'll ever be able to repeat what he's done this year in any case. (He also doesnt deal with extra pressure very well initially, takes him a while to make each step up. If he starts badly/gets injured early on at arsenal he might not recover). Perhaps it's not a complete disaster if we sign musa and another quick, skillful forward. It is a disaster if everyone leaves now.

Leave off his wife though, he's a grown man, he can take responsibility for his own decisions. This 'evil wife' thing is embarrassing

In order to be world class you have to do it over couple of seasons. There are plenty of players who set the league on fire but didn't follow it up the following season.

Kante is a PL winner, and arguably the top performer in our team, ever consistent... never had a single bad game. In Ligue 1 he was top of many stats too, this guy is world class
