So in your opinion Kante is cr*p then and the best stats for a DM in europe 2 seasons running means nothing? Ask me in 10 years, Kante will be at the top for this long (as long as he stays injury free).

If one, (or indeed all 3), do decide to seek a living elsewhere..then 'thanks' and we all move on...The club will replace them, we'll support their replacements and life WILL go on ! Personally don't think we'll suffer a 'meltdown' and lose players galore. Probably one, (maybe two), will have their heads turned..... they will be replaced, (by better knowing our scouting system), and the basis of the squad will stay to 'go again' next season ! In Ligue 1 he was top of many stats too, this guy is world class If that is the case, why wasn't he 1st choice for France 12/6/3/1 month ago?

Or do you think accepting an arsenal bid of 35 mill would be OK having paid him less than he was worth? we can't have it both ways and this will repeat across our best players for the next month or so. we either break the bank in wages (we won the PL with a record low wage bill - the players now want their 'pound of flesh') or we lose our stars and Walshy has to pull some more rabbits out of hats.

If they play like they did the past season for the next 2 or 3 years then they can be considered world class. Players come and go as Ateltico Madrid and Dortmund found out. Kante isn't the best defensive midfielder in the world just for the record, Busquets is by a mile. If you think otherwise you don't understand the game. There are also other cdms who are better than Kante besides Busquets like,Grzegorz Krychowiak and Javi Martinez. Don't fall into the trap thinking the premier league is the only league in the world. As for saying Iniesta never tackles, do you even watch Barcelona? Iniesta and Rakitic win the ball back within 5 seconds of losing the ball by tackling. Kante suits this counter attacking Leicester team and he is perfect for it. Put him in another team and he'd struggle, hence why Lassana Diarra was considered to start over Kante in the French national team for the euros. As for Vardy, he will struggle for Arsenal because they don't get the ball quickly to the forwards like Drinkwater does and lots of teams sit back against Arsenal. He will be ineffective like he was for England yesterday if he went to Arsenal. Musa and Callum Wilson would be my picks to replace Vardy. I don't think Vardy's wag is helping matters, of course I don't know her but just the way she comes across. Just remember kids that your parents are never wrong.

Why can't he continue here and be world class... as for France this was the season that everyone took note, but the Ligue 1 stats are there for you to see. He was bloody good last season but this season he has proven his world class credentials. I'm certain he will continue to impress, he didn't really have a bad game, very few can say that. Ultra consistent and never looks out his depth up against anyone
Edingleyfox Posted 3 June 2016 Posted 3 June 2016 Things have changed a lot since losing Lineker to Everton or Alan Smith to Arsenal.We should be able to match any financial agreement Arsenal can offer and I cannot see the owners rolling over. I think the club will renegotiate his contract and he will stay as he is settled and a Leicester legend. If he does go along with Mahrez or Vardy then it would send a message the the big 4 or 5 can still buy success and make it far more likely that this year was a one off.Huge blow to football if it happens.
