Merging Cultures Posted 11 May 2016 Posted 11 May 2016 In the first video he looks very Vardy like. He chased down a lost cause of a ball, tackled the defender on the line, beat that defender for speed, and then beat the keeper and another defender to score.
Harry96 Posted 14 May 2016 Posted 14 May 2016 Been keeping a close eye on him today vs Madrid looked like deportivos one of few bright sparks. Been very composed on ball and been linking up the play well too got very good vision. Think he'd be a great fit here IMO plus he's left footed which would've give us. A bit of variation
tsintskaro Posted 18 May 2016 Posted 18 May 2016 http://sportwitness.ning.com/forum/topics/agent-confirms-leicester-have-contact-him-to-sign-striker-transfe When asked about the biggest pretenders, Fernandez said: "Leicester from the Premier, Napoli from Calcio and Atletico Madrid from La Liga have directly addressed us to see the possibility of signing Lucas. To all of them we told them that we will never activate the release clause, they must negotiate with Deportivo. “And they have said, some now and others a few months ago, that they intend to do so. In addition, there’s a fourth team, well, there are more, but between the main teams, there is a fourth, which is the Barcelona that we know they like Lucas." Although Perez’ contract with La Coruña only expires in 2019, Fernandez says that it’s “very unlikely” that he’ll stay at the club after the summer. The player reportedly has a €20m release clause, so despite the club’s desire to keep him, it’s not very difficult to take the the striker from them. I steel think he should be bought as soon as possible
TheLittleBigMan Posted 30 May 2016 Posted 30 May 2016 I'd be surprised if we can prize him away but if we do, jesus, some of that finishing..
Fox seen in Norwich Posted 30 May 2016 Posted 30 May 2016 131 secs of highlights and only one touch with his right foot... Not good enough ;-)
tsintskaro Posted 30 May 2016 Posted 30 May 2016 He is best option club has got right now if they want to buy solid forward and they want and need one vardy-lucas Musa(i dont fancy him,but he is close to be signed)- Mahrez tear every team apart
Dan Posted 30 May 2016 Posted 30 May 2016 He looks a real talent to be fair. I've read rave reviews about him all season. Seems to have come from absolutely nowhere into being one of the most exciting looking players in Spain. 20mil euro release clause is a bit steep but it won't seem it in about three months time.
Ric Flair Posted 30 May 2016 Posted 30 May 2016 He's said he's leaving this summer I think? I like the look of him.
Buzzell Posted 30 May 2016 Posted 30 May 2016 Barcelona, Athletico Madrid and Napoli interested. We will do well to beat these teams for him.
Alex_LCFC Posted 30 May 2016 Posted 30 May 2016 Barcelona, Athletico Madrid and Napoli interested. We will do well to beat these teams for him. will beat napoli to him. Barcelona athletico, he would have to decided weather he would get many first team games with them. If his attitude is right and he wants to be a tegular starter fir a champions league team then id imagine he would come to us
tsintskaro Posted 30 May 2016 Posted 30 May 2016 I got that feeling, that if leicester need and try to get this guy,he will come release clause is not that big,his agent and deportivo's president said that if clubs pay that clause,he will go
The_77 Posted 30 May 2016 Posted 30 May 2016 Hope his right foot's a secret weapon that he's saving until he signs for us. [emoji12] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
MikeyT Posted 22 June 2016 Posted 22 June 2016 http://talksport.com/football/leicester-city-have-not-made-contact-over-striker-target-lucas-perez-insist-deportivo-la Deportivo La Coruna have received no offers for Lucas Perez - despite reported interest from Leicester City. The striker bagged 17 goals last season and interest is high with the summer transfer window fast approaching. Leicester are one of the clubs chasing the 27-year-old and they are reportedly ready to fork over £15million. But for now Deportivo's director of football, Richard Barral, claims that no official bids have been made for Perez. "We are in ongoing discussions with him but are giving him a bit of breathing space to listen to everything, but we've had no concrete offers yet," Barral told reporters in Spain. "In football you must manage time as rushing things leads to mistakes and we can't go mad again. "Lucas has several years left on his contract and right now we are including him in the squad for next season."
bald reynard Posted 8 August 2016 Posted 8 August 2016 Sport Witness (I know, not the most reliable source !) are reporting that the Spanish Press (a Catalan newspaper) are saying we're about to sign Lucas Perez, the Deportivo la Coruna striker, for 15m Euros. "Advanced negotiations" are under way !
