Southampton played Wednesday 8pm, Saturday 3pm and Monday 3pm. Chelsea meanwhile have had Boxing Day 3pm, Saturday 3pm and then Wednesday 8pm. Then you've had us and Middlesbrough playing two games in 45 hours, Liverpool and Man City likewise.
AyewJoking Posted 2 January 2017 Posted 2 January 2017 with regards to linekers tweet, is there a team that will be playing on all of those dates or just different teams on different days?
Donut Posted 2 January 2017 Posted 2 January 2017 8 minutes ago, StanSP said: saw Lineker tweet earlier that the schedule for next year there's games on: Dec 16 Dec 20 Dec 23 Dec 26 Dec 30 Jan 1st 6 games in 15 days. Means season will probably finish earlier because of the World Cup. 5 minutes ago, Corky said: Some sides have been given tough schedules. Do we just try and cram loads of games in because its christmas? its absolutely senselsss and by game 5 and 6 the games will probably be like ours today, atrocious (in part, not ABSOLUTELY because of) players being absolutely knackered. There was no reason anyone had to play today. No reason whatsoever. EVERYONE could have had the same amount of rest and tv could have still had plenty of games to show.
Jimothy Posted 2 January 2017 Posted 2 January 2017 Never a red for Feghouli there. Similar to Vardy's.
shawy2510 Posted 2 January 2017 Posted 2 January 2017 Wtf is Mike Dean doing never a red, yellow at most.
IOWFOX Posted 2 January 2017 Posted 2 January 2017 He goes to play on and then sends him off. What the hells that about? I just don't get how he fully intented to play on and then decides it's actually a red. Got to be the worst decision yet!
Jimothy Posted 2 January 2017 Posted 2 January 2017 If he's sending Feghouli off for that he needs to book Lingard for his foul.
AmarteyAndChill Posted 2 January 2017 Posted 2 January 2017 West Ham fans saying we were bad? They keep shouting and moaning at every decision. Bunch of hypocrites.

The conspiracy theorist in me would say he had instructions from above that's why he waited. In reality he, like many refs, saw an injured player and decided that meant it was a red. A player rolling around holding their leg is now the universal signal of a bad tackle, not actually watching the tackle and judging it yourself.
Super_horns Posted 2 January 2017 Posted 2 January 2017 Very unlucky red card - if anything Jones went in harder. Agreed with the above comment about players making the most of it..

Vacamion Posted 2 January 2017 Posted 2 January 2017 Just now, Nalis said: Couldnt happen to a nicer team in all honesty. Agreed, but they will blame a defeat they might have suffered anyway on the red.

He was out of control? you have to jump in some way to make a sliding tackle. he wasn't out of control. Both of them went in the same way for the ball. It's not like Feghouli was ultra late. It wasn't that reckless or that malicious but I think Dean has been done over by Jones' reaction.

Do you mean like when payet dived and made the most of it to get Huth a yellow card?
Matt Posted 2 January 2017 Posted 2 January 2017 Mike Dean in referee losing control of a game shocker! I made this point the other day, so clubs getting charged with 'failing to control their players' quite often, what punishment do referee's get when they 'fail/lose control of a game'? Because it's happening more and more often and it's generally down to refereeing decisions.

Jimothy Posted 2 January 2017 Posted 2 January 2017 I'm glad Alan Smith has actually called out Mike Dean for his refereeing style. Don't see it very often. Referees don't get questioned enough about their bad performances week after week. Niall Quinn doing the same now.
