fuchsntf Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 Ppppp aaaaa nnnnn iiiiiii cccccc. I used to chase nurses around my bed, in my spare time. Now I have caught up with 1 or 2, I have forgot what to do. Like city winning that bloody title...what is there more to do!! Champions-league...naaa if Forest can do it twice, cant be that good!! I have one target in front of me, that makes some sense... Finding that bloody elusive Dinosauer, this will be even more important than catching the Yeti, The Yeti I have already seen, running around the himilayas, screaming...'up the foxes', many years ago.
Koke Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 I'm emotionally exhausted so I could do with a 10 weeks of no Leicester games. This title race has taken a lot out of me, I didn't sign up for this. I want mid table mediocrity back
fazzyfox Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 Do you mean straight after or in general? I'm looking at having a summer like when a player has a testimonial season - a champions barbeque, champions golf day, champions snooker day, champions coastal resort tour, one long victory parade. Any talk of a fans football tournament / day again? Vardy and Drinkys involvement for England (and others for their nations) in the Euros will extend the season and hopefully lead to some good atmospheres in pubs and a bit more drama. Dig out some of the recordings of Man City away, Chelsea and Liverpool at home etc. Then it's glued to transfer business and scooping up the inevitable souvenir books, DVD's, stage musicals etc of our season. Oh and kidnapping Kante's agent for the duration of the summer break.
Vlad the Fox Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 Probably carry on like I have since last Monday and wander around in a daze with City moments flashing through my head and changing any conversation I have with people to the City. Nothing matters anymore, my productivity has fell of a cliff. I might become homeless and sleep in the turnstile doorways at the KP. I'm so happy.
Izzy Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 Getting my head down and doing some bloody work for a change. I've been totally distracted with all things Leicester this year and forgot I need to earn a living to support a wife and two kids. If I'm not careful, big men in blue coats will come and take my TV and furniture away.
Leicester_lad_92 Posted 12 May 2016 Author Posted 12 May 2016 Any serious people celebrating anywhere in London after match ?

Let me know if you're interested in a straight swap deal mate. My wife and kids all in good condition and from a pet and smoke free home

stretch1965 Posted 12 May 2016 Posted 12 May 2016 Having a break from the beer, my livers f%ck€d this season.
Dodgy Bob Posted 13 May 2016 Posted 13 May 2016 FA Cup Final next week, Champions League final the week after, Euro's start the week after that and last until 10th July. Then it's three weeks until the Community Shield. So only two weekends with no football. Not sure what I'll do for those. Go outside maybe.
st albans fox Posted 13 May 2016 Posted 13 May 2016 Life will become one long anti climax now. Nothing (family tragedy aside) can match the mental and emotional angst of the past few months. The prize bigger than anyone could have imagined. not even unexpected. Not a surprise. Surprises can happen. This couldn't. It's just bizarre and what follows can surely never match it in any way. As above, need to get back to some proper work. Been far too distracted for months now.
Thracian Posted 13 May 2016 Posted 13 May 2016 What are people doing after the Chelsea game ? Anything in particular? Playing lots of golf, a bit of squash, continuing learning Mandarin Chinese, reading, writing and heading for my chalet in the woods to enjoy some countryside walks and try to improve cooking skills which are way below those of my wife and sons.
FireFox Posted 13 May 2016 Posted 13 May 2016 Waking up. And realizing you have been in a coma since Hull at home last season.
Ozwin Posted 13 May 2016 Posted 13 May 2016 Took it out of me mentally and financially last weekend so I'm going to sit in a dark room I think and contemplate life and how it's never going to get this good again.
BoyJones Posted 13 May 2016 Posted 13 May 2016 We're on the 2230 train home, so will be drinking for a few hours after game. Probably go back to stags head, close to St P, unless anyone knows anywhere better?

promised land Posted 13 May 2016 Posted 13 May 2016 Am I the only one who still can't get their head around what achievement we've just seen? Even when they lifted the trophy and I saw it for real, there in the stadium it still didn't sink in, we've topped the premier league, beaten the so called big clubs and got the trophy to prove. The flag on my flag pole in my front garden says Champions on it but still I can't believe it.
foxychik Posted 13 May 2016 Posted 13 May 2016 Had a conversation with my dad - he's been watching for 70+ years he said 'I don't know if I need to go anymore they've done what I never thought I'd see them do - it can't get any better' I was a bit surprised but understood. We've been the underdogs for so long, been used to things not quite going to plan and this season the stars aligned and the unthinkable happened, I reminded him about the champions league and he came to his senses. But, it raises the question is it all downhill from here ? Or can we push on ? I can't see anything other than winning the CL bettering this.... maybe a 2nd title and/or an FA cup win would equal its certainly going to be an interesting ride next season

Yes it would be a mad one, but nothing will better that day ever. ETA, I'm not just talking about inside the ground, I mean all over the city, the buzz, the media, the Italians, everything.
