I genuinely just think it's something that needs hammering into these people. Do it 3,4,5 times more and maybe they'll get it, maybe they'll understand and appreciate it. At the end of the day so long as you have the backing of the club there's nothing they can do and it's only words. Old habits die hard, especially in football fans.

What I don't understand, the people giving grief kept going on how they'd, and I quote "been sat in this seat 40 years" (lol), so why are you complaining about it now? No one complained at Sunderland last year, no one complained for Man Utd, no one complained for Swansea where the banners were exactly the same height. Some of the abuse towards people holding the banner was disgusting.

For the record, everyone near the aisle in SK2 around rows KK helping hold the surfer were sound, cheers! :scarf:

that's a bit of the point really, doesn't look much if you are stood behind it, why cannot they be moved around to different stands each time?, then the people in sk would be able to see the results of the hard work by these good people.

Several reasons I'd imagine, although this is purely just my opinion.

  • Giving "The Kop" a unique identify.
  • Can't do it in the Family Stand as away fans are a part of it.
  • Having it in the East or West stand is going to increase the cost what I'm sure is already an expensive exercise.
  • A lot of the organisation is from people in Union FS who stand in SK1, a lot easier for them to organise close to their seats.

You are correct that it doesn't look much if you are standing behind it - but that is the point. You are contributing something for the good of the club/players/profile of the club and you don't get to see it yourself.

Another, I imagine, is that they do it because the home team looks that way when they walk out of the ground. Leicester warm up/run out to that end of the ground.

All of this plus we don't have a seating plan made up for the other stands as we do for the Kop. (That was made by one individual painstakingly making their way through and mapping the seating plan on LCFC direct to an excel document). With the way the Club sell tickets now we rarely have access to the seating plan (and never the Family Stand) so it is very difficult to replicate that exercise.

Can the next one say something about Mel Moult?

'Real supporters watch the match, not tunnel walkouts'

Or is that too long?

I'm sworn to secrecy sorry. All will be revealed in good time.

Just hope the trophy banners from the Swansea game have been kept, they'd look great somewhere in/outside the stadium. Even the other banners from previous Tifo's I'd like to see, a while back now though I suppose...

I do not actually stand behind it, was just trying to be fair to everyone, I would not mind if it was done in the family stand I suspect my kids would love it.

I think abusing someone for making a personal point is a bit low

he could have family on here , just adds to some of the negativity about certain groups

behave or log off !

Wow, I doff my cap to whoever did that.

I assumed the club gave you a document of the seating plan.

They all sit in SK1 so I'd guess they also want their area to be part of it, kop looks great every time it's been done, even if we have to wait an hour or two to see the results. lol

Well worth being under it though.

I think FW's point is more 'idiots will be idiots' rather than actually complaining, to be honest.

Fact is, we have a minority of fans like this who are remarkably self-entitled and will find the slightest reason to complain and pick an argument.
