I sit in SK2 behind the goal and people were getting angry, we could all see they ran down to have a go at you lot. Yep, a few comments were made to me and the other guy who I was with. Shame really, but you can't please everyone. But there's been a lot of positive things on here & social media about it!
Allfoxedup Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 If some fans got angry i missed this from SK1. No idea what they would be moaning about given the effort prep put in and execution of a great tifo by Union FS.

Danizen Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 It looked great but the trophy would have looked better on a blue background as silver on clear plastic doesn't provide enough of a contrast. Kudos to whoever brought the 'ultra proof' flag. That was great!
Bluetintedspecs Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 That looked excellent........well done guys n girls!
Allfoxedup Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 Ok I understand. I am further back in sk1 so not an issue with the 'Champions of England' banner personally. If restricted view was the issue. It does sound like much ado about nothing, surely it would have been relatively momentary obstruction and pre-match. Likewise, The UFS lads/lasses behind the banner would not have seen anything but would know that the positive message would mean a lot to the players and the majority of fans.
promised land Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 People at the front were moaning because the 'champions of England' banner restricted their view? Jesus, third world problems, it was down long before kick off so where's the problem?
CosbehFox Posted 20 August 2016 Posted 20 August 2016 Top work - fair play to all those what had to suffer fools language. Good effort with the atmosphere. The best comment I can give is that I was really looking forward to going 'home' today. Knowing they would be a great pocket of atmosphere to my right and the flags are looking great too. Story behind all of them no doubt

lifted*fox Posted 21 August 2016 Posted 21 August 2016 Anyone moaning about it momentarily blocking their view has no sense of the greater good that a display like that brings to the atmosphere and the lift it gives to the players.
Soup Posted 21 August 2016 Posted 21 August 2016 If I'm honest the vast majority of people under the surfer were great, really doing their bit to help get it up. Top work all.
Jackubu Posted 21 August 2016 Posted 21 August 2016 This is easily the best one yet. The hours put into this were immense. It might not be relevant but a large chunk of the group were at the ground until midnight Friday and back there 6 hours later go carry on ensuring everything was ready. The select few fans at the front of the Kop were a disgrace to be frank. Not only moaning but offering fights to the groups volunteers. It was slightly disheartening hearing him speak until we saw the photos.

justfoxes Posted 21 August 2016 Posted 21 August 2016 Well done guys yet another top display from the union FS guys and a great tribute to our champions of England !
RGFox Posted 21 August 2016 Posted 21 August 2016 Any fans moaning for a few minutes interruption for such an amazing tifo need to get a grip. It's great than fan groups like ufs are doing things like this off their own backs anf time, cost and effort.
Ted Maul Posted 21 August 2016 Posted 21 August 2016 Looks amazing, brilliant work. Can't believe there were people moaning about it, no idea what goes through some people's heads.
Old Fox Posted 21 August 2016 Posted 21 August 2016 It was incredible and we should be so proud of the Union FS Group....nothing quite like it in the prem and visually spectacular. For those involved well done......ignore the moaners as they are the minority and you will never please everyone!
promised land Posted 21 August 2016 Posted 21 August 2016 One question. How did you get the trophy proportions right as you can hardly hang that up and use a projector to mark it out. If that was free hand there are some seriously talented artists in there. Time for a pulley tifo from the roof. Champions of England banner should be used at every home game this season as well.
Jimbo Posted 21 August 2016 Posted 21 August 2016 Can't believe that people were moaning because they couldn't see the players walk onto the pitch!!! That can't be right, surely?? Why do you need to see the players walk onto the pitch?? That is the point that we need to create a cauldron of red hot atmosphere and the tifo adds to that! Seeing the players doesn't add or take away anything! Shouldn't be surprised I've been moaned at for standing in the past as the players enter the pitch! It was a great effort and hope to see many more over the course of the season. I'm one of those who sit in an awkward position so I don't get the full effect of what it looks like until I see pictures but you can feel what it adds. Shame we need something 'organsing' and we can't have a few spontaneous shows to fill inbetween when you boys do your thing. I think it's been mentioned about scarves etc but it'd be nice to see something from the kop. Is there anyway you can create a new branch that sit closer to the front, more centrally in the south stand, maybe that could help? But, again, top effort. And I'm sure the majority appreciate what you bring and add. I thought yesterday that it sounded as though far more people from the south stand were joining in with the singing etc
