doesn't want to come...seems all the rumours are nobody wants to join us

Sounds like January! if it gets any worse we'll have to be developing our own players. How would that go down with all out new found but likely  nomadic fans?  lol

Who does he replace in our starting 11 then? He's not in the same league as vardy or Mahrez, can't see him playing the Okazaki role and I'd personally prefer albrighton on the left because he can actually cross the ball

And seems to be available every week!  :)

Not a goal scorer? Last three times we played them he has scored against us! Has a hat trick in a competitive match for England.

For someone who plays ostensibly on the wing, he has a reasonable goal scoring record.

Look at the trend of his goalscoring....he's costing more for a lesser return! Pay him per appearance and it might make sense but he's high risk otherwise and what the hell would Vardy be wanting by way of salary upgrade? .

He's obviously too big for us.

what is he 5 foot 2?

Like Oxlade-Chamberlain, he's over-rated and as mentioned by many here is rather limited.

We've already got special forwards and don't need one that's perhaps money-motivated.

Would be a great signing. He'd fit into our team perfectly.

I've been saying it for a couple seasons now. Walcott should be our number one target. Or Hernandez 'little pea' who used to play for United, the Mexican fella plays in Germany now. I want him.

Can't we have Welbeck instead?

I rate him for England but he's shocking for Arsenal.

Think he'd want too much money though and not sure he'd fit in with what we have here.

I know that attitude has got to change if we want to kick on and build on this season but it needs to be a gradual progression.

Also to injury prone, but perhaps that could be more to do with Arsenal's medical team or training method, I'm not having that Arsenal are simply unlucky with injuries, it goes deeper than that.

Much better than people give him credit for currently, horribly Mis managed by Wenger. Him and Vardy as a front pairing would be a fantastic force. Arm round his shoulder, played in position all season and he's got 20 goals on him.

Basically this. I'm assuming that because he's overpaid and injury prone is hiding the fact he is actually a pretty decent striker

I do tend to think with the way Ranieri has turned our lads into much better players both in terms of ability and tactially, he could work well with Walcott.

Exactly. Great managers get the best out of players and Ranieri has ability.

Does anyone know which player scored the most goals against us this season?

I know he had a good game against us down here, did he score 2? Plus I thought he made a big impact when he came off the bench at Emirates too, did he score? I can remember Welbecks goal :( but can't remember who else scored?

On his day he has the potential to be a world class player,

I think his problems have been consistency - he has been at Arsenal so long now I think he feels he can play how he wants and get away with it - maybe like it was for Albrighton, it could be a time for change? Injuries have set him back too much too, you can guarantee after 2/3 good games he will pick something up, he could end up the same as Owen who also heavily relied on his pace.

If we can purchase him for a bargain (around £10-£15 mill) I would take the risk. I think Ranieri/back room staff could get the best out of him.

Don't think he would be a guaranteed first team starter and maybe more as an impact player such as Schlupp but feel he should play more as a striker rather than a winger

27, ideal age too. I seem to recall back in 2015 when we lost 2-1 at their place, he did say on the night we were one of the best teams that they've played in that season.

His personality is top notch too, Although I've seen a post above saying he seems to think he can play how he wants, Although I marginally agree I really don't see him as a billy big bollocks type player, so I think it's more out of desperation.

Arsenal have been no hopers for the stature for years, he's been horribly managed, play him as a striker and he will score.

You don't get talked about with the likes of being an "henry" type player unless you have class, every time he played as a striker for arsenal he delivered or atleast played well.

Just want him on fifa tbh....

He is terribly inconsistent and on £7m a year. He can't play as a striker and most Arsenal fans think he is useless.

I think Albrighton is just as good.

Why are people saying no? Walcott is a good player, he's an England international who plays for one of the biggest clubs in the country.

This is exactly the calibre of player we need to be going for now we're premier league champions, not people we've never heard of who have done pretty well in poor leagues across Europe who will need about a season to adjust.

The only issue I would have with him coming here would be his disgustingly high wages, but if he agreed to go lower we should get him in.
