Corky Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 I think he should go for the move. He can improve with us, he'll be a focal point instead of just another player and he could develop under another manager after having one for 10 years.
Guest CityFan 06 Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 He would us perfectly in terms of our pacey, counter attacking style. I like to think we're a good club for helping to develop players such as potentially Walcott in this instance. We do tend to give players a chance to express their ability, as this season has proved. We give them the platform, and now we're seeing the rewards of the faith shown. He would be in a nice welcoming dressing room as well, adding to the togetherness of the group. He seems the type of guy who would fit in with the ethos of the team.
cityfanlee23 Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 But only if we could keep him off the treatment table. I'd love to see it happen but if it did, there might be another 5000-1 bet on the table relating to the chance of our medics raising the dead before Ranieri gets the Freedom of our City! Looking at arsenals record I genuinely think we could keep him fit, there's something arsenal are doing wrong, every single player they sign gets injury problems.
Fox 4 Life Posted 22 May 2016 Posted 22 May 2016 On his day Walcott is one of the best players in the country the problem is he doesn't have many days as he's constantly injured. If the medical team evaluate him and don't see long term issues he could be an absolute steal and would fit in perfectly to how we play
Unabomber Posted 26 May 2016 Posted 26 May 2016 wonder how much he would cost though thats the question imo
Innovindil Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 So you're saying our front 4 could be Musa vardy walcott Mahrez behind vardy. I'd feel sorry for the premier league tbh.
ronnup Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 So you're saying our front 4 could be Musa vardy walcott Mahrez behind vardy. I'd feel sorry for the premier league tbh. Feel sorry for your maths.
Innovindil Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 Feel sorry for your maths. Because vardy Musa walcott mahrez doesn't equal 4? I need to go back to school
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 Please God no. He can t hold the ball up. He can't lead the line. He can't head. He can't defend. Poor technique. He's got the tactical awareness of an academy player and a first touch of a Championship player. He's a speed merchant, and he is exactly why England continue to fail at tournaments because we give frauds like Walcott £100k a week and rate him as an International player. Wouldn't take him even if he improved his fitness. This This This This This
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 Feel sorry for your maths. Pretty sure 3+1 = 4 pal
tylesta Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 Feel sorry for your maths.I feel sorry for you're maths
Bunyip Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 I feel sorry for you're maths I feel sorry for your math.

goose2010 Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 people saying that they don't want Walcott? he tore our defence a new one in both games, if he is fit and confident there is a better English forward. The only thing is his wage but I guess that will show he is actually wants to play for us. He needs games to prove himself, missing out of the Euros would of hurt him so hopefully that will spur him on to want to prove to the nation he is good enough.
Innovindil Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 Mahrez doesn't work well in the middle though. He would if he had Musa vardy and walcott getting him space.
kingcarr21 Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 Pretty sure 3+1 = 4 pal He said a front 4. If Mahrez is behind then technically its a front 3
Innovindil Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 He said a front 4. If Mahrez is behind then technically its a front 3 Obviously meant the attacking 4. Always called attack the front
AyewJoking Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 People wouldn't want a fit Walcott? Mental. whats a fit walcott?
Simo86 Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 A fit in form Walcott would be an immense signing, but it would be a bit risky as the aforementioned doesn't happen much. Would depend on the financial package to whether it would be worth the risk or not
Gerard Posted 27 May 2016 Posted 27 May 2016 People wouldn't want a fit Walcott? Mental. I don't want him because I'm sure he'd see us as beneath him. Coming as a 27 year old who has been a first team regular at Arsenal would seem like a step back and an admission you're no longer at that level. It won't happen anyway for the above reason and the reported £140k a week he's on, he'd much rather stay and fight for his place methinks.

Would depend on the financial package to whether it would be worth the risk or not 2 injuries in 2 years, played almost every game in the 2 years preceding those injuries and played most of this season.
