st albans fox Posted 25 July 2016 Posted 25 July 2016 Incidentally, going back to the Chelsea shirt photo issue, the original tweeter of the picture claims that the name 'MAHREZ', popped up against 7 when you asked the system to propose players to you. He tweeted that also but much easier to photoshop that I reckon. Chelsea could be involved now. If they see a player like Riyad might be available then why wouldn't they. As as many have said - up to us to make sure he stays.

BlueBoy1 Posted 25 July 2016 Posted 25 July 2016 I've put a tenner on him staying, so he best stay! In all seriousness, we need to be ruthless with this. If we let him go this season, we will be he next Southampton. If we finish top 4 or have a decent season, we will be picked off. Where's the ambition in that?

Finnegan Posted 25 July 2016 Posted 25 July 2016 If Mahrez officially stays we need to move in for the kill, find a player Arsenal are about to sign and move in for the kill. Take down the Arsenal twitterati once and for all.

Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 25 July 2016 Posted 25 July 2016 Make a bid for Ramsey. Wenger isn't his greatest fan.

Cadno'r Cymoedd Posted 25 July 2016 Posted 25 July 2016 I am serious. Plays him out of position a lot and sometimes doesn't pick him. Ramsey is a victim of Wenger's conservative style. We saw what he can do for Wales in the Euros when given his head and freedom. At the very least a little bit of speculation might shut Arsenal up and put pressure on them...

At the very least a little bit of speculation might shut Arsenal up and put pressure on them... Wenger is a massive Ramsey fan. Was always first choice before his leg break and did everything to get him back in to the side afterwards. Him being played out of position was because Wenger wanted him in the team anywhere he could get him. He's Wenger's golden boy. For the record, he's actually pretty good in deep positions. Until his recent goal scoring form and push higher up the field, he used to sit in deeper for Wales and run the game from the middle. Especially when Allen was out.
