mozartfox Posted 11 June 2016 Posted 11 June 2016 Me too. Another similar to Stirling. Over priced and over rated.
Tuna Posted 12 June 2016 Posted 12 June 2016 Not good enough, bad attitude, he can stay with the Baggies.
TJB-fox Posted 12 June 2016 Posted 12 June 2016 And when things don't go his way?. I wouldn't even think of the bloke. Things have only not gone his way because he's being kept prisoner in Fort Pulis with all 200 of his centre backs patrolling the walls. Seriously, imagine being a pacey talented young striker eager to kick on with your career and score goals, but you're playing in a Pulis side that plays a 7-2-1 formation. You'd be pissed Add to the fact that he'd been given false promises about being able to leave then Peace changing his mind, I can see why he's unhappy there.
Patrick Posted 12 June 2016 Posted 12 June 2016 Superb footballer who is being kept at a club against his wishes. His supposed bad attitude is a complete myth. He just wants to progress his career and WBA need to realise that he can't do that at the Hawthorns and do what it is best for all parties. Not sure what the WBA chairman is called off the top of my head but he's been a complete bellend. I'd have him here. When he's smiling and is enjoying his footballer he's bloody good. Still young and we could probably get him cheaper than we think. It's hardly a myth, this season isn't the first time he's caused problems, he went on loan at Brentford and caused a rift in their dressing room and pulled his usual stunt of airing his dirty laundry on Twitter there as well, they ended up sending him back to WBA. He's not a team player at all, I'd say he's the last player we should go for if we want to maintain our spirit.

Most of what you mention is par for the course at many a football club. But pissed off, badly treated, lied to, dropped - none of them make the excuse for you not to give your all for the cause both on and off the pitch. I wouldn't want him anywhere near a team of mine.
ZeljkoKalac1 Posted 13 June 2016 Posted 13 June 2016 Leave that lad where he is.........end of thread.

That's fair enough, but be interesting to see if he goes elsewhere and how well he does. Clearly a talented player and hasn't helped his reputation but there is two sides to every story
Vindaloo FOX Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 i rate this lad very highly but if he is a bad apple then i rather he stay away from our club .
MPH Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 Worth a punt for that sort of money Don't think we should risk compromising our team spirit for a punt....
ronnup Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 If he's available for some of the fees being mentioned, £5 million etc, we'd be mad not to invest. Even Pulis commented regularly that his attitude in training etc was great fine.
J.Lisemore Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 Worth a punt for that sort of money You'd take Balotelli on a free then?

filbertstreet Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 You'd take Balotelli on a free then? yes, imagine what him and jeff could get up to
FireFox Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 You'd take Balotelli on a free then? "I would welcome Balotelli with open arms."
dbtcity Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 You'd take Balotelli on a free then? Yea I'd say balotelli and berahino are a bit different!!! 1 was clearly poorly advised on what to do to push through a transfer.... The other is just a complete lose cannon!! Clearly you don't think it would be a chance worth taking where as I do especially for a young English player of his ability for such a low fee! Young footballers will make mistakes you just hope they learn from them which I'm sure he will have.... Balotelli on the other hand seems hell bent on ruining his career

Balotelli on the other hand seems hell bent on ruining his career In a team with our spirit he could really thrive, there's no doubting his potential, just seems he needs to feel special and happy, maybe he's a bit needy, but in the right environment he will undoubtedly produce the goods. Whether there is such an environment remains to be seen.
filbertstreet Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 not 5m then http://www.expressandstar.com/sport/west-bromwich-albion-fc/2016/06/15/west-brom-wont-lower-saido-berahino-fee/
Ozwin Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 Never really seen what's so good about Berahino. Think he's a tad overrated if I'm honest but I'd happily be proved wrong. Don't think he's worth anywhere near 20M or whatever he was reportedly worth last season, but then again he's in a side that probably stifles the way he actually likes to play so what do I know?
ARM1968 Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 Let him go to Stoke. Joke of a player. Might have ability but his best ability seems to be causing friction in his own team.
