Shouldn't we be just focussing on a RB, rather than a CB who can play in that position when called upon? Maybe the hope is that Amartey will confidently develop into that position and provide that cover. He showed good potential in Barca friendly but still makes me very nervous. I think we're fairly covered for this season at CB and should look at it at the end of the season. Is there a bright prospect coming through the ranks in the under 23's that get a cup game or two at CB?

Elliot Moore has looked the stand out player every time I've seen him play, strong, tall, good on the ball and I'm guessing he must be a leader as he's the captain for the u23s, I'd like to see him given a shot in a cup game at cb

I think the main problem Hernandez had in the hull game is that Wes is terrible at organising his defence when Huth isn't there to back him up, the defence just had no organisation where everyone was just in the wrong place including Wes. It was pretty much the same thing we were seeing every week before Huth joined
