He offers pace and nothing else.

I dunno he offers randomness as well which ain't a bad thing sometimes. That goal against Spurs in the FA cup example, a goal like that had to be schlupp lol

I'd not be against signing someone better for 20 and offsetting half of that by moving him on should he want more game time though. He is limited.

yes my nothing else comment was a little over the top.

but he is not as good as many make out.

take his speed away he is less than average.

would love to see albrighton with schlupp speed now that would be a player.

Take Vardy's speed away or Mahrez's skill or Huth's heading ability and they would be average too.

Point being; he does have pace so judging him without it is completely redundant.

Get real. Being "one of our own" makes his task twice as hard as expensive imports from big name clubs. Look at Inler and Kaebi. Some people were begging for them to play yet neither had ever showed themselves worthy of lacing Schluppy's boots.

Osama Bin Laden stood tall cos he was a goer. he didn't just theorise about Jihad he fought like hell on the front line and built roads, tunnels and all sorts with his own hands.

Schluppy's done things too. Helped us win The Premiership for a start. Plus the Championship and he played his part in the fight against relegation. You don't achieve those things if you're a nothing footballer. It needs attitude, ability and temperament to build a CV like that.

Even tonight he whacked in the winner. Okay it was a friend. It doesn't matter. It won the game just like the penalty he won against West Ham     saved the game. It had damn all to do with pace. Schlupp has all sorts of assets that help win football matches. No, he's not the perfect or the finished article and I've never said he is.

But my life I wouldn't want to mark him.

The bloke's a nightmare to cope with. And a damned good team player on top.

I like Jeff as his pace from the bench is something else.  Defenders will have to stay on guard with Musa, Vardy and Jeff across 90 mins.  If Claudio didn't think there was something he could work with he would have left him out in the cold like Inler.

The article yesterday in the Telegraph, the paper that broke the story, said that the club have turned down the offer and said he's not for sale.  It seems to have passed the forum by.  http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/07/18/leicester-confident-riyad-mahrez-will-stay-but-would-ask-for-mor/

Birmingham Mail also reporting the same this morning.

Looked pretty good today. Nice left-footed goal and surprising touch.

He did, and he is a useful asset

The last thing we need is selling our better players.

Interesting that Pulis fancies him given that it he tried to sign Vardy, and look what happened to him since we turned Albion down.

What about his work rate amongst many other relevant attributes. If Schlupp sorts his end product out he will be a top drawer player who wouldn't look out of place playing for most teams in the world. He's only 23 or so now so there is plenty of time for him to better himself on the training pitch. The potential of the man is almost extraordinary. Should have gone to specsavers.

Plenty of end product last night. Thought he played well. No way we should sell him.

On the basis of the fact we need him for our home-grown player quota in the Champions League, he won't be sold. Just can't see it.

You need many hours of therapy if that's what you truly believe. Jeff Schlupp is already good enough to walk into half the first teams in the Premier League already and he hasn't even realised his full potential yet.

Proof that he is getting better and better, he's one of my favourite players.

He was pacey, strong and direct and he beat players with control.

Jeff Schlupp is this year's Jamie Vardy.

If /when Jeff gains a little coordination or when something clicks that enables him to be more clinical he would be in Sterling value territory, I truly think that.

Jeff looked superb against Oxford. I know, level of competition and all, but he seems to always bring a spark.
