Schlupp - West Brom

Is it too much to ask for someone at our Club to give the Director of Traffic at WBA a call and tell him in plain English that JS he is not for sale?. This is becoming tedious.. This is unsettling for FT members and we need news of in comings urgently.

wot?

the 25 man champions league squad should consist of 4 players trained at the club for 3 years between the age of 15-21 currently we only have 3 Moore, King and Schlupp so we will only be able to name a 24 man champions league squad and if we sell Schlupp we will only be able to name a 23 man squad.

SSN and Pulis can Fook off. Have we not told them yet that he is not for sale?

As if Schlupp would want to go WBA anyway lollol

Promise of getting into the starting eleven and higher wages? He's still young and needs a chance to prove himself, he might not think he's getting that opportunity here.

Changed a few games last season he's a big player for us would love to keep him. Why are we getting screwed on player prices Ibe was £15m so Jeff should be the same or more imo. Also he might want a fresh start away from his ex so you never know he might want away.

If he had any ambition he would stay where he is and fight for his place plus I'm sure he's on about £80k a week anyway lol

Don't want him to go but to me it shows ambition to want first team football as he is likely to grow more as a player that way...

Suppose if you look at it that way. But here he has the chance to win the community shield, defend a title and play in Europe.

With the new signings we have made, and the rumored signing of the polish kid, what are his chances of playing much of a part is probably what he is thinking...

Must have been the moment in the game against them when he ran straight off the pitch with the ball that convince Pulis lol

Wouldn't surprise me if we accepted £12m

His pace alone is probably worth 12.

Throw in the comedy value and we're talking at least 85.

Selling Jeff would be a bigger hit than losing Sol Bamba and Knockaert x10.

To be fair... I think this just highlights how difficult Rudkins job is this summer. 12m is a decent amount of money and you've got to take into account he may want £60k a week now he is a PL champion. WBA are probably wiling to make him one of their highest earners, many of these transfers are starting by the agents looking for a better deal, look at Kasper £80k a week is ludicrous really.

We have to make sure we don't pay over the odds for our current players. I.e. Reports we are paying Wes £70k a week hopefully are untrue, he's a great player but not 70k a week, we have to take into account what other clubs would pay 70k a week for Wes?

We have to try to pay players what they are worth, if Liverpool want to pay £80k a week to DD and we feel he is important we need to get near this figure, as with Mahrez etc. But if Sunderland are the only team interested in Danny Simpson for example this doesn't mean we need to pay Simpson 50k a week- as if Sunderland would offer this?

All the stick we give Rudkin but at the minutes he probably has the hardest job in football, trying to balance the books while keeping existing players happy with other clubs lurking to sign our PL champions and offer them silly money. For example if WBA are willing to offer Schlupp 80k a week then we have no choice but to sell, we shouldn't be competing with that for a player like Schlupp, if WBA / Everton / Sunderland want to pay these inflated wages it just shows how badly many other clubs in our league run their football club / transfer policy.
