AlBrighton best player on the pitch Chilwell, Drinky, Mahrez, Zieler, Morgan all extremely good Perhaps Ulloa the only one a bit below his game Hernandez looks good on the ball and has a great long throw, not yet convinced on his defensive skills yet though.

RowlattsFox Posted 23 July 2016 Posted 23 July 2016 Your typical pre season game, showed the odd bit of quality. Zieler looks solid, Chilwell looks composed, drinkwater classy and Mendy is not going to be the same as Kante. Ulloa has done well but we miss Vardy.

Amartey has defended much better in my opinion, has won quite a few headers, something he didn't do against Oxford. Albeit Celtic playing three in the middle, our central midfield has looked a problem, especially when tracking back.

thegaffa Posted 23 July 2016 Posted 23 July 2016 First half summary etc in my opinion: zieler looks so so composed and does his job with ease. amartey looked steady enough, although it looked like at times he was playing as a 3rd CB. Morgan, well is normal Morgan. hernandez looks promising, his throw ins could cause carnage if used right. chilwell looks good and is eager to support and overlap at every opportunity. mendy looks decent but he is definitely not a like for like replacement for Kante. mahrez looks good in bursts as usual but can be predictable at times. albrighton looks bright and willing as usual. Gray seemed quiet but he has great potential. drinky looks hungry and driven and he is always available for the ball. ulloa, thank you for you attacking and defensive work and of course goals for the past two seasons but I feel on this performance and current ability, his style does not suit our style of play. In my opinion We need another mobile forward who has a good touch/technique who keeps defenders thinking. just my opinion guys
