Infighting

I think it's just the way it is unfortunately.

Park on Freemans Common and try to get away after a decent win. All that band of brothers, bonhomie you were witnessing 20 minutes earlier has been replaced by road rage and some audaciously arrogant/ignorant/dangerous driving manoeuvres.

Much as I'd like to think we are the chosen ones we are no different to any random selection of 30000 people, there will be some rotten apples.

Block 109 several stand off's occurred. Who ever you are you're not welcome in our club, and are a ****ing disgrace.

Yeah seen this, some Man with his 2 daughters and lad all in their 20's Turns around and says"we not f###### sitting down" even though the kids behind couldn't see a thing all match. Don't thing you had an option of where to sit on see tickets.

Didn't see any fighting near us. Although it could have kicked off when some guy got very annoyed cos he thought fans around him weren't doing enough to make an atmosphere or getting behind the team.

It really annoyed me that there were 4 guys sitting near us who did fvck all when we scored. So they were either Utd fans or given tickets and don't have any affinity towards Leicester. It frustrated me because it deprived actual fans who wanted to be there but couldn't.

Absolutely not true - any City fan that wanted a ticket could have got one

Sounds like we was sitting near each other.

What block was you?

Totally agree.

Singing section does not mean standing section.

If a group are standing and those behind them are then thats fantastic. But if its one person standing and everyone sitting then thats selfish.

When Utd scored a bloke a few rows in front of us just jumped up and celebrated and turned towards us all signing United! I thought it was going to kick off with him then and one bloke had a go before deciding to walk down to the stewards and they kicked the United fan out

Walking under the underpass and waiting to walk up the stairs to get into Wembley Park station there was some trouble.

The stewards were holding everyone back (mostly Leicester fans) and one man united fan ran through started singing, dancing and goading the LCFC fans.

When the stewards let everyone through he then started asking people what the score was. Out of nowhere some Leicester lad ran up and gave him a right good punch to the side of the head. He soon shut up and went over to the police. He ended up getting arrested for breaking through the stewards barrier lol

Was that the one where the stewards turned up and a few of the armed forces lads were around?

The best one was right at the back of 108 after the final whistle, two blokes and a woman trying to keep them apart, all over a t shirt I think. lol

Yea that was it! They moved from 109 to 108. A lad in his twenties was arguing with a bloke who had his young son with him, he called the son all kinds of names. There's no room for this Neanderthal like behaviour, silly boys who can't handle their drink trying to spoil it for everyone else. In the streets it's public disorder....

Funny bunch aren't we?

I made a joke comment to some fella in the ground about how he'd regret buying an ice cream because with it melting, it would end up down him. His reply was it will end up down you in a minute.

The club didn't make enough of advertising 'the signing section' which in otherwise was accepted standing. I had no trouble around us but the understanding appeared we will be standing.

After the game, just leading down the ramp onto Wembley Way. It just randomly kicked off between two Leicester fans.

Beer and sun. With those idiots what have the pre determined opinion the day is all about them and only them.

Oh yeah and the stealing of shirts from the seats was bewildering.

I was in 110 and there was a guy who kept holding his flag up, within their right the couple behind asked kindly if he could keep it down as it was blocking their view, he ranted on for the rest of the first half sarcastically apologising every fuc*ing minute then his kid (looked about 8) looked embarrassed and he started to call everyone who doesn't have hull tickets plastic fans and was just starting arguments and getting aggressive suggesting that because he have been a fan for 30 years it means he has a right to obstruct others views and felt like he could be rude, sounds like one of many incidents, sad.

I think I must have been lucky as was fine I block 118 - no fighting or shirt stealing that I saw - everything was on our seats and those around us. Fair few people in and out all match which I find annoying but you get that at all grounds these days!

Traffic home horrific though - two hours after leaving we could still see the stadium! Had to stop at Toddington after 4 hours driving and not all fans there covering themselves in glory to be fair, shouting swearing and staggering around frightening children. Including some very young, very drunk teens who looked about 13!

Had some absolute morons the row in front of me in 113. One guy was effing and blinding the whole game when there was kids around. He claimed Zlatan was a sh*t Swedish C*nt and if he was 'that good' then someone would have signed him for millions instead of him going united on a free transfer....it honestly baffles me how thick some fans can be.

I simply think it shows (and continues) to show how much we all need 'safe standing' areas. SIMPLE...those who want to stand, can then stand (I get standing..I always used to stand in the Spion Kop), whilst those who don't want to stand (or can't) can sit and enjoy the football.

Whilst it is how it is, it's ruining the spectacle for some. This argument about 'picking your seat' is bollox too. Not everyone will know where the 'typical standing areas are' (frankly, I don't) or won't be able to get a ticket exactly where they want to be.

Segregation...is the answer. IMO.

I agree with a lot of this. Safe Standing areas would solve this issue overnight I think.

Perhaps next time we visit Wembley (not too far off I hope!) it would be useful for this forum to point out where in the stadium fans tend to stand up. From reading this thread I'm sure that information would help a lot of people out.

What time did you get back to Leicester, as we left at 9.25 from Wembley and got to Leicester in 2 hours, just wondering how long it took people who left earlier?

I left pretty much at the final whistle, had children with a baby sitter at home, and got back in about 2 hours. The journey back was much better than getting there, that took me nearly 3 hours.

We got the train so we were lucky enough not to get held up in traffic.

£8 return from Nuneaton not bad!

I left Wembley just after 6pm, didn't get to Toddington Services until nearly 10pm, grabbed some food then finally got home to south Leics about 11.15pm :(

Today was like a throwback to the bad old days but it just made me so THANKFUL of the good people that I sit amongst week in week out at the KP.

Some TOTAL IDIOT on row 2 block 110 refused to sit down, obscuring the view of children and particularly 2 elderly ladies who even got out of their seat to ask him to sit down as they couldn't see. He ridiculed them by pretending he couldn't hear them (!) and continued to stand and ruin the experience for at least a dozen people behind him.

What is wrong with people like him? Just get a seat at the back FFS or respect your fellow fans and stop being so selfish,

Grrr
