Cunningfox Posted 23 August 2016 Posted 23 August 2016 Going back to the OP's question.. when the draw is made on Thursday do we definitely find out which days we play & whether it's home or away? Ince we know who we are drawn against is there not a period of consultation with Police etc to make sure the two London teams and the two Madrid teams for example don't play at home in the same match week?

The draw incorporates this sort of stuff already. Two London/Madrid teams will be in opposite side to the other (Groups A-D vs Groups E-H). And yes it is announced within an hour of the draw completing usually. Thursday night we will know opponents and fixture dates.

The latter two will go into pot 4. Fancy a trip to Bruges myself. Lovely square with restaurants and bars a plenty, all serving very strong beer!
