We're about to go above Utd and Spurs and given that they play each other, one of them will be unable to overtake us. Plus Southampton and Derby would also both have to win so I'd say we're safe.

FireFox Posted 4 May 2017 Posted 4 May 2017 So to be relegated, Derby and Southampton have to win? And Spurs win or draw. Tomorrow: Southampton play 2nd place Man City. Derby play Chelsea. They both would need to win for us to not yet be safe. Then Man United (almost certainly need 2 points based on 'goals for' - to not fall below us) play Arsenal and then Spurs (who just need 1 point).
Foxxed Posted 4 May 2017 Posted 4 May 2017 With Barnes playing today will more or less two days including first team training be enough rest for him? Could do ten minutes I guess though.
Lionator Posted 4 May 2017 Posted 4 May 2017 If Utd Spurs was a draw and Derby (H to Chelsea) and Southampton (A to Man City) won, we'd go down on GD looking at the table.

onekeithweller Posted 4 May 2017 Posted 4 May 2017 Must be a tough time for those Spurs lads. RIP Ugo Ehiogu. Nevertheless, well done LCFC U-23's.
Collymore Posted 4 May 2017 Posted 4 May 2017 Highlights are on Youtube. Not sure about the Spurs red kit and how they didn't get players sent off I'll never know. They were kicking Gordon everywhere at the beginning....

Foxxed Posted 4 May 2017 Posted 4 May 2017 I'm excited about our youth team now. We have a full midfield with Lawrence, Barnes, Hamza and Gray. I hope Gordon turns out well. We really need a youth team striker. Not sure sure happened to our own home grown talent. Six, with Chilwell, players who could get into the first team would be incredible.

I wouldn't call that play acting, I wouldn't call that acting of any kind, really, I wouldn't....
Foxxed Posted 4 May 2017 Posted 4 May 2017 Does anyone know if Kap is doing okay in the u23s? I've heard exactly nothing about him for what seems like years.
AmarteyAndChill Posted 4 May 2017 Posted 4 May 2017 We should play Gray, Chilwell, Ndidi, Lawrence and Kapustka in the same u21 side and just let them run riot.
Melbourne Fuchs Posted 5 May 2017 Posted 5 May 2017 For those interested, Derby is running an official (and free!) live stream of the game on YouTube.
