Got to say, I'm not keen on repurposing generic chants (Wolves Nuno had a dream, Liverpool allez etc) for Vichai. He should have something unique.

Fully agree. Its nice that people are trying to come up with stuff but I think he deserves something that we can say: "That's his - and ours."

Big fan of the 'Days' suggestion that was posted.

The first couple of verses from 'Days' by The Kinks, later covered by Kirsty McColl.  Easy to sing and unmistakably a tribute.

Thank you for the days

Those endless days those sacred days you gave me

I'm thinking of the days

I won't forget a single day believe me

I bless the light

I bless the light that lights on you believe me

And though you're gone

You're with me every single day believe me

This is very good.

We absolutely need to get this going. It could so easily become a favourite, nearly every one will be familiar with the tune and it's so poignant. I can see the only problem initially will be everyone will be crying ?

This is so perfect.  Just a thought...The chorus line where Kirsty sings "Days I remember all my life"  could we just keep repeating that at the end of the verses above .  Or  to make it more personal, sing Vichai's name       Its 5 beats and that would fit   ..                          Vichai  Shriv  add  hana  prabha .     Whatever ,  i'll be singing along if I can hold back the tears enough .

If we have to go down the Sloop John B route of “Champions of England, da da da da da” then I’d prefer we sang “It’s all down to you” rather than “You made us sing that” as if he was some sort of chant nazi.

Yeah, or "we thank you for that". The wording is a bit clumsy as it is.

With Amarety out, we'll play Danny Simpson as our Third Reich back of the season.
