Selection of tweets about the tifo in this article. Some seem to imply that the Shakespeare-Shakespeare link was unintentional!! Also laughing at those scottish lads judging the atmosphere based on what they hear on the TV... Idiots.

Oh no, sorry lads, it was a poor effort- Ciaran Headridge and Hazza Prajit didn't like it.

SEVILLA (H) REVIEW // MAKE A DONATION TO UNION FS

Hi all,

It’s difficult to put into words how special last night was. Knockout wins in European competition do not come round very often for us (the last one was in 1961, if you’re counting), and as fans we generated an atmosphere befitting the occasion. Today we can feel immensely proud of our club.

Thank you to everyone who assisted in creating, donated to and took part in our South Stand choreography of Craig Shakespeare yesterday. Every tifo is designed in order to give the players and fans a final boost pre-match. It may be a happy coincidence, but some of you have noticed that we’ve never lost when we’ve put on a display... So, not wanting to take any chances, we would like to arrange something for the quarter final — but with only four weeks to go until the first leg, we need to get this in motion sharpish.

We would be very grateful for any donation of any size so that we can put on a display worthy of a Champions League Quarter Final. As always, without your generous contributions we cannot put on these displays, so thank you in advance.

Donations can be made by:

- PayPal – [email protected] (by selecting the ‘transferring to family and friends’ option)
- Bank Transfer – e-mail [email protected] for details
- By credit or debit card (using the donate now button at the foot of our homepage – www.unionfs.co.uk)

See how we put your money to use — watch our video review of the Sevilla tifo at the link below.

Thank you for your continued support.

The sheer scale of the thing when laid out on the floor puts it into perspective. Seriously impressive.

Also- the state of the people at the bottom who forced it up so they could wave their flags lol

People deliberately ripped holes in it using their poles aswell. Old John in particular got a fair bit of damage done to it. Can only assume people wanted to give it a decrepit look for realism.

It was difficult not to see the funny side of it. I'm sure the Tifo aficionados wouldn't be too pleased about it.

Unbelievably daft by the club to put flags out when the display was planned, but some people really need to get their priorities in order. Move to the West Stand if you want to sit in peace to watch the game.

I'd probably put myself in that category but the thought of someone poking their head through it tickled me lol

No harm done at the end of the day.

Could argue it was done on purpose by them?

Yeah you could, if you lack brain cells.

The club knew about a massive surfer being used as a Tifo. Yet still put flags out in the KOP. Had to be on purpose seeing as the only time people wave the flags is pre kick off when the tifo goes up...

They were waving them at the end as well.
