Legend_in_blue Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 Well this line up is well and truly set up for the doom merchants should we fail to win.
Larry_LCFC Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 Don't understand the lineup at all but game on. These European fans aren't half noisy never seen so many police before.

adam Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 Well that's pretty poor. Andy King again. It's like he forgets how bad he is in a 2 man midfield. He struggled to do it in league one! Albrighton has been hopeless and still starts. Give gray a chance!!
fazzyfox Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 Judging by the clips on BT they have a few players who can strike well from distance, pretty spectacular goals. My 0-0 is now a 1-1.

Larry_LCFC Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 I just don't understand his obsession with king. It's like we are setting up at home for a draw. Really disappointed not to see Gray.

They are a decent side, unbeaten in over 20 games and have some decent players, for Denmark that is. Players like Cornelius shouldnt worry us. He was over at Cardiff and failed miserably. They will be sharp and organised though so we need to be on our game but with Slimani, Vardy and Mahrez we should have more than enough for them. We should also see a little more of the ball than usual and not be so pressured. Predciction - 3-1 but theres will be a late consolation. Ive had a bet on that scoreline at 18/1 and a saver bet to show some profit by backing the win at 21/20. Money in the bank. Time to tell the missus she can have that dress she wants

Nalis Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 Putting Michael Owen and Martin O'Neill in the studio together is like playing Elvis Hammond alongside Messi.
Merging Cultures Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 Uh dear didn't expect the invisible man. Hopefully he turns up in the box at the right time.He does score some big time goals. So maybe...
m4DD0gg Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 Rob the nobs analysis hits the nail on the head there. Champions league grappling and pulling all over the place. In the prem not a peep.
desertfox2 Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 All I can think of is Ranieri is expecting Copenhagen to play deep and sees King more creative than Amartey. They are a 442 side also. Let's hope he is right as if they try and play through the middle and attack us we could be in trouble. If they sit deep we should win. Gray... they are a big strong side dangerous at set pieces. Again I can understand why he's picked Albrighton.

adam Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 Another strange one is playing Simpson instead of hernandez. Surely you play Hernandez when Slim is up front for his long throws. Looks very negative tonight.

Ric Flair Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 Hope Ranieri hasn't got the early stages of dementia.

sphericalfox Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 Amartey is injured, we do not have another midfielder, so it's King in, FFS.

Haha I was thinking the same, O'Neill sounds like he has a decent knowledge of us this season. Owen has basically looked at this seasons results and formed som opinions.

Why though? Albrighton gets blown over by a strong wind and his only attacking attribute is crossing. Dem drawing fouls and causing trouble with his dribbles would be more effective surely.
FoxyPalace.com Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 I wonder which other Champions League clubs would play Andy King? MMMMMMmmmmmm
