matty98 Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 Imagine being that mad over someone thinking king had a good game hahaha
worthosoriginals Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 Some wnkrs are never happy....especially on that phone in.
HankMarvin Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 John Virgo and john Parrot both taking the piss out of King on Big Break
Fox 4 Life Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 Caller on radio Leicester just now slating king as Elliott picked him as MOTM
FoxSince88 Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 This guy had me near to tears after the game, he was right about drinkwater being the best player on the pitch though

As soon as he gets the ball, he hoofs it. Its like a competition between him and albrighton who can give the ball away the most. Saying that he's been our best player this season, but today Kingy played him off the park. Credit where its due, I never thought he had it in him.
Kitchandro Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 King doesn't give away possession much because he hasn't got the balls (if you'll excuse the pun) to actually try to make something happen.
Guest Lako42 Posted 18 October 2016 Posted 18 October 2016 I forgot he was playing, but I had drank a few titanic stouts.
Vardinio'sCat Posted 19 October 2016 Posted 19 October 2016 Tosser... I think Drinky is more comfy with AK than with Amartey. I thought the pitch conditions didn't really suit DD's trademark move, but King made notable interventions from box to box. Kingy should start against palace, imho.
MC Prussian Posted 19 October 2016 Posted 19 October 2016 I don't see the point in slating Matt Elliott on the post-match phone-in. It's his personal choice whom deserves his MOTM. People criticizing King for giving the ball away obviously didn't watch Drinkwater's performance yesterday. Or Albrighton's for that matter.
Les-TA-Jon Posted 19 October 2016 Posted 19 October 2016 King was totally solid and tidy last night. I don't know how anyone could see anything different from that performance. And why compare him to Drinky? They're were clearly playing different roles last night.
dbtcity Posted 19 October 2016 Posted 19 October 2016 I can only think of 1 pass that nearly had me pulling my hair out from king, 1st half he picked up the ball with nobody around him, he looked up... panicked and hoofed it straight out for a throw lol, after that he settled down and played his usual safe passes, I personally thought he had a solid game, one interception towards the end of the second half they broke through and kingy somehow got back and managed to slide in and put it out for a corner, just had me thinking had amartey played that would have been the precise moment he would have been caught ball watching.. as for mom I had Drinkwater down as the best player on the park for us, yes some of his long balls go a stray but he offers so much more, he was all over the park looking like more of a box to box midfielder than we've seen from him this season, I guess that was down to him feeling confident enough in kingys defensive abilities!
