I don't recall finners reporting anyone or asking for them to be banned.

Not in my nature in the slightest.

1. You can't offend me.

2. Even if you did, I'd just tell you to **** off.

Nobody Welsh, at least.

Wish I could say I was surprised.

Where is the donation button for the website these days? Think I'm going to owe the forum a fiver in a few hours.

If only some others had that attitude.

Finners hates the Irish.

I'm half Irish and Gaelic Fox often makes me hate the Irish, yet he's really English.

Last time I checked it was at the bottom of the main page, but I'm not sure.

I'm not going to rest easy until the confirmed result, though.

Maybe it's just that every election/vote in my three years of adulthood has gone terribly, but I've got a horrible feeling Trump could win this.

tbf it's highly unlikely, I think even if he wins all the battleground states he's not guaranteed to win

Not there anymore, we'll have to pick a charity instead, money can go to Loros if I win.

Syrian red cross if Clinton wins, Black Lives Matter if it swings the other way.

I really hope you're right. Very worried that he might be able to get one of Michigan or Pennsylvania and the other important tight states.

My hopes for tonight

1. A Clinton victory

2. Gary Johnson acquiring 5% of the popular vote

3. A poorly thought out concession speech by Trump (although not too critical of American democracy please)

4. The obligatory moments of outrage

Ha! That's highly entertaining!

Saying it could be an 80% turnout in Penn, a record, if that's true Trump could steal that with masses of white working class voters. Florida does appear to be going to the Dems though and that pretty much means a Clinton presidency, a huge Latino turnout.

If Marco Rubio had won the Republican nomination he'd be about to win a landslide, it's really going to be about hanging onto the House (easy) and Senate (tricky) on the lower ticket votes.

The turnout thing is a bit strange in this vote. I've read that fewer white people will vote than ever before, I've also read that Hispanic turnouts will impact negatively on Trump, yet in other press that the white working class turnout will be huge in some states and the unpolled/surprise Trump factor will be the people who will quietly vote Trump in their droves....

Should be an interesting night.

Will be very interesting.

Long term we could be seeing realignment in the US voting map, Democrats making gains in places like Nevada; places like Texas and Georgia will become swing states and the rust belt of left behind white working class could start to become Republican leaning.

Andrew Neil and Emily Maitlis on the same show. :trumpet:

Great start for both candidates on the exit poll, 59% say Clinton not honest or trustworthy, 65% say it about Trump lol
