Just a reminder.. we're still champions

Could be Championship next year if we carry on like this. There's probably better options.

We're just not as attractive as we were in the summer.

That last sentence is starting to get really fvcking boring now. And so obvious.

Not good enough, was the backbone of the side that won Euro 16 and had Sporting fans almost in tears when they found out we were close to signing him. He's also that poor he managed to score against a sh*te team called Real Madrid. Oh and Sporting have only lost one game in the league when he has started this season!

** Have you actually heard of any of the teams they are 'unbeaten against'? The only other half decent team in that league is Porto and they havent played them yet...just saying, performing well against 'Arouca' wont make him a premier league sensation **

Also......Yes he 'managed' to score against Real Madrid but im pretty sure that was a penalty.....

That leaves him being the 'back bone' of Euro 16 winners. He was part of a team playing with desire and confidence, hope he realises he wont have that here...

So are we signing him off the back of a good Euros then? #Kaputska

Seriously, this guy has been performing at a top level for years, and he seems a real link man. This is exciting.

His build gives me confidence he will be able to deal with the physicality of the prem. Kapustka is small and weak, he just needs to beef up a little bit.

Although we are looking a lot less attractive than the summer, we can still offer him huge wages and I'm hoping Slim will be in his ear too! An essential signing, even if we do sign N'didi. Would love to see a 3 man midfield with Drinkwater and Silva and N'didi infront of the back 4, with Mahrez, Slim/Vardy and Gray ahead of them

He needs his head checking if he was to come here.

Not many decent players about that actually want to stop playing Champions league football.

we would have to throw a hell of a lot of money at him, and give him guarantees that we would be playing Champions league football with us soon?

Which presents it's own problem seeing as though there are a great many Leicester fans ready to attack players using money as a big **** off stick.

Either way I can't see him jumping at the chance now that we have levelled out a bit.

This would be great to see. It would give us lots of options and depth. Would still have King, Amartey, James and Mendy for CM and Musa, Albrighton, Schlupp as wingers. We Could play 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 and have some cover for injuries and loss of form.

If we play 4-3-3 then we don't need Albrighton. We need to wingers who are very good at attacking. They won't have to defend as much due to the extra man in midfield.

Albrighton would be your bench option to change formation if needed I would have thought.

Mahrez, Gray, Musa, maybe even Vardy as your attacking wide men.

I think having an attacking 3 would definitely get the best out of Mahrez, as he would have less defensive duties due to the cover Ndidi could offer across the back 4. Similar to how Hazard as been unleashed in Chelsea's new system. He can focus on what he does best, getting the ball further up the pitch and taking players on. At the moment, Mahrez is spending a lot of time as a RWB, and so can't get forward quick enough to have any real impact. I think to achieve what we did last season with a 4-4-2 is an incredible feat in itself, but Claudio must look to change that now, and a 4-3-3 is what I would do, as long as we can get one or two top CM's to play alongside Drinkwater. We may already have one with Mendy but I would still like Silva and Ndidi, as we are too reliant on Drinky not getting injured or suspended.

-----------Schmeichel

Simpson Morgan Huth Fuchs

-----------Ndidi

-----Drinkwater Silva

--Mahrez--Slimani--Gray

That's what I would like to see after the January window, plus a top young CB on the bench ideally

I'd do exactly the same. I'd hoped to have a ball playing centre half, in the van Dijk mould. Having N'Didi,Mendy,Drinkwater,Silva,Amartey would be excellent options.

Pretty sure our chance to sign Adrien Silva is gone. We had the lure of champions league football and the prospect of an exciting future in the summer. Now we've got a relegation fight and a competition that he can't play in. Do people think Slimani would have signed for us if he knew how our season would have unfolded so far? I think he would have had 2nd thoughts to be honest.

Maybe just the lure of playing in the biggest league in the world and a huge pay rise might tempt him..?

Can still see him coming, though that could mean pushing King out of team/matchday squad more often.

obviously other teams will now be looking at him so it depends on how high up the food chain we are and whether bigger fish will come in for him

Definitely can see him still wanting to come, but definitely can't see Sporting selling in Jan, unless someone activates the huge release clause.

If an agreement had been made in August - that LCFC can have him if Sporting doesn't make the knock-out stages - I would expect there to be very little chatter about it, since the management might be seen to lose face, and it the rumour mill is at full speed, they would have to be seen to be "fighting" for him. We would need him at the beginning of the window, since a cup-tied midfielder is most valuable during Afcon. Simply put, this would happen at the beginning of January, or it ain't going to happen.

In any event, despite what some Sporting fans said in the summer, the financial shenanigans which "saved" Sporting from bankruptcy was smoke-and-mirrors: They definitely need money.
