Lee Clattermole?

Expected you to say captain Pugwash. Then you could watch Master Bates lollollol and Rodger the cabin boy when you have a spare minute. By the way how are the Sea man Stains lollollol

Sounds like a confident and demanding character with high standards to me. Perfect captain material

you think a captain should demean and belittle those around him?

Glad you're not my captain!

Teams usually have 3/4 captains on the pitch. Just because they don't have the armband dosent make them any less effective.

This is the ENGLISH premier league, not some American spin off!

( you are confusing born leaders with captains.)

Could be either Drinky or Kasper. Think Kasper is more the natural leader but could see it improve Drinky as a player in a Beckham-esque way. Beckham never stood out as a leader but boy did it improve him as a player!

Kasper or Drinky for sure.

Kasper because he has amazing passion and can see him staying with us for the rest of his career.

Drinky because he is our most consistent outfield performer, but not sure how long he will stay with us. If he keeps progressing, he could sign for a Spurs or Liverpool type club eventually.

This is an area I'd love to see the club invest in January. A comananding centre back who can become our leader.

I look through the regular starting 11 and don't see a real leader amongst the team. This song a problem until things aren't going well. We need a Steve Walsh, Gerry Taggart type to pull the team together.

Drinky isn't 'perfect' for the role, for lack of a better word, but he's the best candidate.

Kasper is certainly not a leader off the field. Rarely gets involved with his teammates and has a bit of an attitude problem by all accounts.

Drinkwater all day for me, he sets an example on and off the pitch and seems well respected by the other players.

I can assure you that you couldn't be further from the truth about your off the field comment.

So could Kasper.

Alot of neutral pundits rate him highly.
