Captain Morgan

Not sure if this is a wind-up or not?

Certainly explains a lot about his performances this season. Did he not get done for drink-driving on the old rum and cokes?

Anyway, anyone bothered about this? Or should our captain be focussed on more important things?

lol honestly? come one mate calm down a bit! what is he meant to do sit in a room 24/7 and study videos? Players have lives outside of football jsut like you do outside of work / school

I didn't say I was bothered. I asked if anyone was. I can understand why people might be though. I just thought it was noteworthy and a bit funny given his previous brush with the law.

Please tell me you're not being serious with any of your questions.

Nah. It was brandy and coke he'd been on when he got done so no problem there obviously.

Would be awkward if he lost the armband

Surely the club has spares ...    and I wouldn't have thought they were that expensive to make.

Some might not like it with our prospects for this season looking Dark and Stormy. Claudio might think that Mai Tai bosses won't be pleased about this, given Wes has played like a Zombie recently.

ETC ETC

Morgan is playing like a man with one leg, this season. He should be stripped of the captaincy, and dropped. There is however one other problem with regards to this. There is no natural candidate for the job.

Some people say give Kasper the job, but a goalkeeper is not a good idea.

It's a case of him being back to normal.

It's not a question of what has happened to him this season, I think it's a question of what happened to him last season.

Although atleast the season before last (The Great Escape season) he was getting crucial blocks in, he's not even doing that this season.

not been as bad as the first season when he spent most of the time on his arse, early doors tho

I think he's actually improved the past two matches. Did well at Bournemouth minus the goal (which was a collective shambles to be honest).

There's every chance he's the one getting dropped if we get a new CB in January

absolutely no chance of this happening.

So you'd drop Huth instead?

Going off the performances this season I think that would be suicidal tbh

I wouldnt drop either. The Midfield / Goalkeeper is the issue in my eyes.

The stats say otherwise

Perhaps. But do the stats take in individual errors?

I'd argue that Wes has made far more individual errors this season that have led to goals
