foxfanazer Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 He was an embarrassment today. Looks a shadow of the players he was last season. Gets skinned far too often and gives away stupid fouls. Would much rather we played Chilwell as first choice. He's certainly no worse than Fuchs this season
lcfcben76 Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 100% agree today he was a joke, genuinely just assumed he'd been out on the piss last night at times. Gotta say though he hasn't been one of the worst players this season
Max Power Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 Two appalling games in a row from him. Given that left back is the only position in the back four we actually have a competent alternative he should be benched for Chilwell for a decent run.
Kitchandro Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 In a game full of pathetic, embarrassing individual performances, his was the worst.
BenTheFox Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 We will end up with a thread for everyone. Even the tea lady isn't safe.
foxfanazer Posted 22 January 2017 Author Posted 22 January 2017 Just now, BenTheFox said: We will end up with a thread for everyone. Even the tea lady isn't safe. Nah Dorris is alright

Tuna Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 Chilwell is ahead of him now, that's that. As he would say, no fuchs given.
sdb Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 He's had a few poor games now and Chilwell should start. That said, he's been immense for us - even throughout most of this season when others have collected their money and eased off - and doesn't deserve major abuse imo. Simpson was even worse today. Neither had ANY support anyhow. I'd actually say he's in our top 3-4 outfield players this season, which is depressing. I'd point the finger at the rest of the back 4, Drinkwater, moaning fringe players and several others before I would Fuchs. I'd quite like him to ease off on the midweek euro trips, soccer schools, punditry and social media lark for a few weeks though, and focus on his game a bit more.
Ric Flair Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 Was our worst player vs Chelsea and yet he gets the nod over Chilwell whose been our only shining light in recent weeks. All the back four are horse muck most of the time and Ranieri has a massive job on his hands. This blind loyalty has got to stopZ he needs to ascertain who is the best men for the job at the back and picking them. All 4' days are numbered.
iamafox Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 I reckon Chilwell will start over Fuchs against Derby on Friday
Fox92 Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 Lets be honest Ranieri has been waiting to drop Chilwell. Shame. Chilwell should start left back now.
JimmyB Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 He's had a shocker so far this season. The support he got from Albrighton last season must've helped him massively. The diamond in midfield left him and Simpson exposed today, that said they were still both embarrassingly bad.
somebum Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 legs have gone same thing happebed to Gary Neville, Christian you have been excellent for us thank you for giving us such joy last season you were brilliant and will be a legend here but you look shafted now mate
psychonaut Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 It's time for Chilwell to come in and replace Fuchs now. He linked up very well with Gray in the half they played together.

Playing a diamond with two of the most unadventurous full backs in the league is incredible. What adds insult to injury is they can't defend either at the minute.

As for Gray he showed one or two bright sparks but he was greedy and decision making was very poor
TheUltimateWinner Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 Chilwell had earnt his place on merit, no idea why he was dropped. Chilwell HAS to start next game.
AjcW Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 Too busy spending the week building his business for when he retires by all accounts. We have a replacement, let's use him and rotate with Fuchs
lgfualol Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 No idea why we gave him a new 3 year contract. Good professional but getting in the way of Chilwell. MLS is calling.
MattCan Posted 22 January 2017 Posted 22 January 2017 We've been deafened by the shouts of 'potential' players who were gonna come and improve the team, the likes of N'didi, Gray, Musa, Slimani, Mendy, and now Chilwell. I'm still left asking myself: where is the beef?

The back 4 is massively holding us back at the minute. The fact we don't have centre backs capable of playing football and full backs who cannot get up and down the field is the downfall of this side.
