Unfortunately we can't replace our shite centre backs

Kasper

Simpson

Morgan

Huth

Chillwell

Ndidi

Drinkwater

Gray

Mahrez

Albrighton

Musa

No doubt it will be a Easy to play against 442 full of hoofs to Vardy

If Slimani is available I'd start him over Musa. If not that's exactly my team.

Well I was hoping to see a 4-4-2 tonight with Drinky and N'didi, to see if we could think about going back to it. I think the team tonight would have been soundly beaten by any Premier League team, especially as Derby offered nothing in the 2nd half and looked to defend their lead. Made it easier for us to defend and try and attack.

I think judging by how Drinky wasn't great again. Then we should perhaps try the 4-3-3 once more. It's a tough choice, because although we were poor again tonight, you could see that the players knew their jobs and the positioning was a lot better than last week at least, although you could blame that on the stupid diamond.

I think 4-3-3 which switches to a 4-5-1 if needed, could still be the best formation for us, unless we sign Ramirez and we go 4-4-1-1.

Will have to be the same back 4 unfortunately, but with Drinkwater, N'didi and Mendy as the midfield 3 and then I would have Mahrez and Gray on either side of Slimani (if fit) or Vardy.

Gray will have to learn to work harder in defence and also be less selfish in attack, but although it is tempting so start Albrighton, he can't beat a man and often he is guilty of rushing a cross into the box, when there are better options available. If Slimani does start, then perhaps he makes more sense but I still think if we put faith in Gray now, then we will start to reap the rewards.

If the 4-3-3 fails again though, similar to the scale it did at Southampton, with players looking confused and out of position, then I think we could be stuck with the 4-4-1-1 until the end of the season

Gray should start  but learn how to track back like mahrez does. I'd have mahrez and gray on the wings

Agreed. Mahrez has really improved this part of his game. He can struggle to get stuck in sometimes still but considering what he was like, it is a massive improvement.

On one occassion last night, I saw Gray lose the ball and then jog back, when he really should have bust a gut to go close down the ball again and help out the defence due to his error.

He is definitely our best option on the left right now, but does need to work harder in defence. I thought even Musa showed more effort in defence in his short time on the pitch, than Gray did.

On Musa, I am still yet to see much quality from him. I know he has a few goals for us now, but he still seems quite limited in his abilities. Harsh as he had very little time again, but jury still out for sure.

by all rights we should be comfortably beaten. burnley are a decent mid-table team this season and we are horrific, especially away.

a point will be pretty fúckin great if no one below gains ground on us.

We'll win

2-1

Vardy and Gray with ours

If we continue to play 15-20 yards too deep and play Simpson, Morgan and huth then you have to imagine that Burnley will have the lion's share and turn chances into a win.

Expect another performance where Claudio's negative tactics and our panicky defenders mean we're constantly under pressure.

Burnley will NOT have the majority of possession unless we go a goal down....Dyche will be satisfied with a 0-0 but hope to sneak a late goal as in the recent 1-0 home wins against Boro (81st minute winner) and Southampton (78th minute).

The weather could play a big part....mild wet weather is forecast but if it is windy you can usually knock off 10 degrees.

The Clarets (more so the crowd) usually up their game for a floodlit midweek match, but Leicester strolled to a 3-1 win at Turf Moor on a Tuesday night about 4/5 years ago.

If Dyche has any...any footballing nouse, i'm talking the kind of footballing nouse a 5 year old has. He will just tell your team to press us high and watch us screw ourselves over by panicking and giving you the ball back constantly.

Could this be the first game in history where neither team has 50%+ possession? haha. We literally (not figuratively) don't have the players to play possession football. Unless Mahrez and Gray can hold it near your corner flag for a long period of time.

0-0 draw I'm going for, and although we really need to start winning, a point at their place would be a decent draw.

Usual performance by us, Burnley decent at home, 3-0 to Burnley I think.

No point giving suggestions about formations, or personnel, as I think we have tried everything this season, and without the players putting in a shift, nothing is going to work.

It feels like a world away, but we played these lot off the park at the KP. It was Slimani's home debut and the interchange between Vardy / Slimani / Mahrez / Drinkwater was sublime.

Of course that was when confidence was high and it was at home, but hopefully the players go in with some confidence.

A win here is absolutely crucial. How long can this rot on the road go on - Turf Moor is a tough place to go at the best of times so we need to actually turn up and play with some passion. I'd like to see us go 4-3-3 and get in their faces like we did against Everton which was our best performance in recent weeks (well since Man City).

None of this no Gray and Mahrez in the same team bollocks - lets actually attack someone for a change.

Nice to see that the penny has finally dropped with most of you regarding the unwatchable Okazaki. Hope Claudio feels the same. Leave him out and we will at least have 11 contributors to what has to be our first away win of the season if we want to avoid a full blown relegation battle.

Burnley don't like playing us at home. We are their bogey side. Mahrez to score, Kasper to save a dodgy penalty for a ball that deflects up on to Huth's shoulder ('oh yeah, an absolute stonewaller' according to Dyche), Barton to see red for shouting out something seriously unpleasant at our captain ('Joey tells me it was just a bit of banter and I believe him. He's a lovely lad' says the Gravel-voiced One) and we scrape a wildly celebrated 1-0.

We should give up on the cautious "keep it tight" defensive approach which we start our our away games with, because our defence aren't up to it, let's attack and go for it.

Agreed. I think we need to return back to how we played at the start of last season. Attack, attack, attack, because at the moment the only way we'll win games is by out scoring the opposition.

Only problem is we don't have an attacking right back to create space for Mahrez.
