FrankieADZ Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 hoping for us to get a 1-0 or something like we did a few seasons back, but knowing us atm, we'll lose something like 3-0, fingers crossed we can get something

Is that not a requirement of fifa and your high horse? Technically a player doesn't have to pass a medical, most clubs just have them to make sure they're not paying for broken goods. I think there's a few examples of players signing for clubs when injured. 1 that I remember is Kim kallstrom signing for arsenal even with a back injury.
Guest Danny Clender Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 Oh yeah, there's a game tonight. The soap opera that's been occurring since friday night has been so much better than actual football. What a bobbins set of circumstances to be taking into a game tonight. I really hope the players don't take things as personally as we do on here. Gray is going to have a an absolute blinder against the defenders, Andre, not Demarai. No new defenders means the same line up, unless we take a gamble on Benny, but I really can't see Claudio making the choice between dropping Huth or Morgan without dropping them both and then do that what? put Ndidi in? that would be silly. So I can see the default back four lining up, although perhaps Chilwell replacing Fuchs, which makes sense on current form. Then In front of that leaky bucket, for me, its like telling a kid "play what you want" I just hope there are no starting places for Okazaki and Vardy. I'd start Musa and have Mahrez play behind him. For the rest of the positions, hold a raffle.
justfoxes Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 Can't see anything but another loss but I'd take a cheeky 0-1 win if our squad turns up and play how we know they can play !!

Spot on mi old son! If we got there tonight and set up to try to eke out a draw by playing three DM's, I think I'm going to cry. We need the points and should play Burnley tonight at least trying to win the game. I'm not sure I could stomach another very few shots on goal, two nil to the opposition type game.
yorkie1999 Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 Leave at 3 back at 1, if i can make the effort Vardy and co. better. Else stuff em.
sk3since03 Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 Tough game don't think they have lost at home for a while now have they? 2-0 Burnley
STUHILL Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 Neither team have much quality, so will come down to who works the harder and gets a lucky break or two. Mahrez unfortunately has never travelled well, and looks like Slimani is still injured, so we will be very reliant on Vardy having a good game and perhaps Drinky too. Both have been well off form all season, but surely that will begin to change soon, so hopefully tonight is the night! A win will certainly boost us all, after what looks like being a very disappointing transfer window.
Ricey Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 Last seasons team but with Ndidi. Give him a chance for a few weeks to be our new Kante.
Ted Maul Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 Trying to figure out how we should set up for this. If we go 4-4-2, they will outwork us and most likely beat us. Their 4-4-2 will be quite rigid, and the way to win will be to get between their lines. Has to be 4-2-3-1. Schmeichel Simpson Morgan Huth Chilwell Ndidi Mendy Albrighton Mahrez Gray Vardy
Babylon Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 I think he'll pick.... Kasper Fuchs Huth Morgan Simpson Albrighton Drinkwater One of: Ndidi / King / Mendy Mahrez Vardy Okazaki
Tuna Posted 31 January 2017 Author Posted 31 January 2017 We'll lose 1-0 with no shots on target. Cue Ranieri post match 'pleased with the performance' 'we must fight' etc.
RowlattsFox Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 **** it! Positive hat on, we are due an away win and they are due a home defeat. 1-2 I think he'll go: Kasper Simpson Huth Morgan Fuchs Mahrez Mendy Drinkwater Albrighton Gray Vardy

Vocey Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 Right..enough of this transfer nonsense. Time to focus on getting some points. Kasper Simpson Huth Morgan Chilwell Mahrez Ndidi Drinkwater Albrighton Gray Vardy
norwichfox Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 I'm looking forward to us perfecting the 90 minute mannequin challenge for this one

lcfcsnow Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 I expect King will start seeing as we scraped a draw against Derby and put in his standard away performance with Drinkwater

I agree give him the chance in a 442 - but Chilwell for Fuchs. And maybe gray in the hole instead of Shinji. And maybe Musa up top instead of Vardy.
Mark 'expert' Lawrenson Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 I'm very positive today (unusually) I think we'll win tonight, these runs both clubs are on have to end sooner or later. 1-2 Leicester cart me off now.
kingcarr21 Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 Surely 4-4-2/4-4-1-1 is the sensible way to approach this game. Kasper Simpson Morgan Huth Chilwell Mahrez Drinky Ndidi Albrighton Gray Musa Lets mix it up a bit. Give Musa a chance whilst Vardy is not performing and give Gray a free roam role. I've never been a fan of Mahrez behind the striker and think he is far more effective on the wing. I wouldn't even mind seeing Gray in Albrightons position and King behind Musa. I could see King getting on the score sheet just sitting outside the box whilst Mahrez and Gray bombed forward.
ealingfox Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 Things do have a weird habit of going our way at this place. I am strangely optimistic. This is the night we take a turn for the better. Come the fvck on.
Wycombe Fox Posted 31 January 2017 Posted 31 January 2017 This time last year we beat Liverpool 2-0 at home, with Vardy scoring a spectacular goal, to maintain a three-point gap at the top of the Prem. This year we're away at Burnley desperate for three points in our fight against relegation. It's always been a rollercoaster ride being a City fan but I never expected this. I'm really afraid for tonight.
