lifted*fox Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 So, with it currently looking like we're not going to sign anyone to help resolve our 'issues' this window and Ranieri stating that he's still 'happy if no one comes', I think we should start thinking about the positives of spending next season back in the Championship. Let's take some time to think back upon our fine years in the Championship and dig out some of the things we enjoy about it - as it looks highly likely that we're headed in that direction. I'll go first... Urm. Actually, you go first.
st albans fox Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 the hangers on will be lost (if there are any still clutching on by their fingernails) and we can go back to being supported by proper supporters
Fox92 Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 A lot of my favourite away days.... Barnsley, Blackburn, Forest, Derby, Sheffield Wednesday....
Guest MattP Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 No stewards guarding the gates while you sneak in on a £10 kids ticket.
brucey Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 We'd probably win loads more games, and not have to fear a relegation battle. Depends who we manage to keep but we could tear the Championship up.
bovril Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 Fleetwood away getting cancelled so we can play in the Club World Cup.
Mark_w Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 We're 15th, 5 points clear of the bottom 3 with 16 games left. So I'm going to go with most likely watching Forest struggle to stay up and Derby struggle to go up again while we enjoy our 4th consecutive season of top flight football.
foxy boxing Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 No more worldwide glory supporters , they'd ship out faster than Payet from West Ham
lgfualol Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 Knowing what kinds of hats people are wearing in the ground and how many seagulls are flying around, instead of what is actually happening on the pitch, thanks to Ian Stringer.
Benguin Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 Having to listen to Stringer more often....... I still can't see us going down, I think we are in a dire situation but I think there are more than 2 teams who will not be able to get 5 points more than us from the remaining games.
m4DD0gg Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 Easier to get tickets. 3pm kick offs. Decent aways.
yorkie1999 Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 £5 parking now £10 £3 for a beer now £4 £3.50 sausage and chips now £6.50 More games, better away days no more clappers, although they were good once cheaper season tickets. chance of play-offs no more scouse accents
Guest seanfox778 Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 Tom Lawrence scoring a wonder goal every other game.
lifted*fox Posted 30 January 2017 Author Posted 30 January 2017 Just now, yorkie1999 said: no more scouse accents

Donut Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 Im going to look ahead to the fact we have a fairly comfortable gap in the table, the fact we are in the fa cup and champions league and the fact we are reigning champions of england thanks. Brentford and cardiff can fvck themselves.
yorkie1999 Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 All the prem is about is watching rich footballers get richer. Its not the best league in the world as far as quality goes, it's the richest simply because of a tv company
bovril Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 Hopefully an away trip to Southend late in the season. Always one of my favourite trips.
spudfox2911 Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 We could petition the rebuild of filbert street?? I know it was basically a derelict shed before the carling stand, but i loved it there.... pen 2 memories, aaaahhhh
Stevosevic Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 Crowds of 25k - the plastics would have moved on
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 30 January 2017 Posted 30 January 2017 Fewer day trippers - easier to get a ticket being a day tripper myself and having no priority points whatsoever Getting rid of overrated mercenary players Better aways / return of local derbies Claudio sacked and starting to play something resembling the beautiful game again!
