Has anyone noticed how Chris Wood seems to be banging in goals for fun, now in terms of size of club Leeds historically a bigger club than Leicester, only difference is the division the championship.

Now last time Leicester were in the Championship we pissed the league by 9 points, Burnley have done the same when they have went down, Newcastle are going to do the same this year go back up.

With the squad Leicester have I think it's far superior for the Championship, the owners wouldn't need to sell anyone they didn't need to, nobody wants to get relegated but if someone like Chris Wood who possibly along with Konchesky is one of the worst players to pull a Leicester shirt on in the last 3 years of prem football can score over 20 goals in championship, when he couldn't hit a barn gate in the premiership, I think a team of Zieler Simpson benny amartey chilwell albrighton king ndidi Lawrence Ulloa Kaputska could stroll the championship next year.

An that teams prob worst case scenario

How much will this Kaputska cost us?

Will we have to sell Kapustka?

Wood isn't good enough for the prem.

Too slow.

As soon as Leeds go up, he'll be discarded like Jordan Rhodes at Boro.

He's one of those players for leicester that you hold in the same regard as Kane.... we all thought he was crap too so.... you know!

Do we have a buy-back clause? No? Then why are we discussing this... Look at what Knocky's doing..

Sometimes I get a random thought in my head, that isn't articulate or a tactical insight, an u read other comments an it reminds u of good memories from the past such as woods goal V Burnley, the huge difference that confidence can make to a player, how quickly things can change, did anyone else look up in the table to Stoke in 10th 8 points away after the Liverpool game.

I guess I'm just trying to look on the bright side either way, an the amount of media attention Leicester get, I think either way we are gonna be big time within 5 years, an will shake this lil ol Leicester tag eventually.

Wood is an excellent finisher, the rest of his game is very limited. Jordan Rhodes is the same and so just being to finish chances isn't enough in the top flight - you need other vital attributes like pace.

I have absolutely no idea what point you're trying to make and think you're doing a massive disservice to Konchesky who all told was a bloody excellent servant for us, really. As much as I didn't think Wood could cut it in the top flight, he didn't really have a proper go.

Underestimating the Championship is the reason half the sides that go down end up stuck there.

I liked Chris Woods although I didn't see a lot of him and Konchesky did what was asked of him with a few blunder along the way

As for them being worst players to put on a Leicester shirt ???

I can think of much worse but I wouldn't know where to start............ In fact I can think of a lot much worse

Wood didn't do a great deal for us although, to be fair, he wasn't always given the opportunity. He's found a level and the so-called big Club, Leeds, still have a long way to go to be promoted and as we all know the Premiership is a completely different League.

Certainly knows where the net is, strangely chose when he was going to jump for a header at Leicester rather than compete every time. Met him once, nice bloke, just said it didn't work out for him at Leicester and he was relishing the chance at Leeds. Good luck to him.

Always been a good finisher, flourishing at Leeds evidently.

I think they will give him a chance, and if they don't go up a premier league team will take a chance on him.

Lots of strikers have proven that is not all about pace in the PL!

in the 3 years of premiership I said, I have supported since 1996, the point was the difference between prem and championship an how some can cut it in Championship but not prem, he is far from the worst player we have had.

After Monday, I didn't have a "what if we're relegated mode" any more, and then came the betting odds manipulation towards Woy the Howl.......not sure how you think we'd offload some of the senior players not mentioned in the team as we're stuck with a massive wage bill even at the forecast 40% lower wages and other clubs aren't going to take them on with such high wages (with the exception of Kasper and Mahrez). :(

a good finisher and the Championship is his level, scoring for fun against really poor defences

Players can improve and adapt over time, Wood is 25, do you think Vardy was the finished article at 25, I don't think many people would have tipped him to scored 24 goals in the Championship let alone the premier league!

Ann Elk had a theory....

...

All Brontosaurus's are thick at one end,  thinner in the middle and thinner again at the far end...

That was her theory!

Let's not open the whole 'is a brontosaurus just an apatosaurus' debate. Chris Wood wouldn't would he, or would he?

yeah Woy worries me others have mentioned the job he has done at West Brom and Fulham, it just seems to ignore the hear an now of Shakey, I would prefer they leave it be until the end of the season.

If we are unable to offload some of the players, they would be at the club to pursue a promotion chase, i'm just trying to say on the brightside regardless. A win today though an Shakey gets it for the rest of the season. The difference in the level of manager in the summer after that will be even more evident, compared to some of the names mentioned now.

He always looked a great finisher when the ball was played in front of him, he struggled for us with aerial challenges when balls were played up from the back and was poor at holding the ball up. I guess the formation and type of football we played with him didn't suit his game.
