hackneyfox Posted 15 March 2017 Posted 15 March 2017 Anyone have a rough idea of how much we've earned so far in prize money and the TV pot?
Soar Fox Posted 15 March 2017 Posted 15 March 2017 Mike McCarthy on twitter said something around £70 million pounds.

glen parva fox Posted 15 March 2017 Posted 15 March 2017 Just read it's 31.7 million euros, around £27 million. That's up to and including quarter finals
st albans fox Posted 15 March 2017 Posted 15 March 2017 Our performance earnings are now £16.5m our fixed fee was around 35m I think as we were champs EDIT: however, it isn't finalised until all English clubs are eliminated and it's possible that by the time we are knocked out, Mike McCarthy could be closer with his 70m
fazzyfox Posted 15 March 2017 Posted 15 March 2017 Sean Dyche said it was many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many pound notes.
surrifox Posted 15 March 2017 Posted 15 March 2017 I believe that we would benefit more financially if Man City are eliminated and we are the last English side left standing. It's something to do with the formula and way that the TV and other rights are divvied out on a country by country basis based on the domestic income. There is a lot more available to English clubs than say Portuguese and after making provision for payments to the likes of arsenal and spurs (who receive money despite being utter shite) the rewards are greater the further you progress.
Babylon Posted 15 March 2017 Posted 15 March 2017 In Euros, the below is guaranteed. Participation Bonus - 12.7m Performance Bonus (1.5m win, 500k draw in group games) - Won 4 = 6m and Drew 1 = 500kRound of 16 - 6m Quarter Finals 6.5m Market pool is hard to say as it depends on where you finish, if you're the last club standing from your country etc. In 14/15 Man City got to the quarters and were the last English club standing and got 31m. We now have a much better deal, so I'd say even if City got further. I think you could expect about the same at least. So £60-70m would be probably about right so far. If we win it... then it's about £110m+
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 15 March 2017 Posted 15 March 2017 I guess wee don't know how much we have earned, and will have to wait and see, when it is all over, for us.
4ever and ever Posted 15 March 2017 Posted 15 March 2017 I am pretty sure we get half the pot for the english clubs as we are the champions regardless of where we are knocked out.

Market share is split in two. So as champions we get 40% of the first half of the pot. The second half is split depending on how many games you play, who goes out first etc.

Hopefully Man City get knocked out and we get even more then!

sdb Posted 15 March 2017 Posted 15 March 2017 Lovely stuff. Any quick wingers in the Russian league available for an extortionate fee??!
Foxxed Posted 15 March 2017 Posted 15 March 2017 I'm obviously happy we're in the money, but this is probably one of the things I'm least concerned with.

It's helpful if we go down. We'd need to buy big to cover 46 league games plus the Champions League. We'd probably decide to win the FA Cup as well.
Livid Posted 16 March 2017 Posted 16 March 2017 Here's last year's figures, I estimate we're around €70 million mark. http://www.uefa.com//MultimediaFiles/Download/competitions/General/02/41/82/55/2418255_DOWNLOAD.pdf
AmarteyAndChill Posted 16 March 2017 Posted 16 March 2017 Don't we make more money because man city have been knocked out?
