The World Cup of Food has fuelled a bitter debate on the subject of the chip shop. In order to prolong this further here's a poll on what you get at the chippy, after a few disclaimers:

 

although many chippy's will sell KFC style chicken, we'll leave that to the domain of the chicken shop

same with kebabs

and chinese

regional specialties will not be indulged. Pie Barms, deep fried mars bars etc are all out. Any suggestions supported with a sound argument may be considered.

I'm a traditionalist.

Salt & Vinegar, Cod, Mushy Peas (but I can live without them).

 

The latter choices are all a bit to Eurgh! for my liking.
