Firegrande Posted 31 March 2017 Posted 31 March 2017 Another Cheltenham Festival has sadly come and gone but this does mean that focus can now be given to the 2017 Grand National. Please add your thoughts and tips for the big race to this thread
pSinatra Posted 31 March 2017 Posted 31 March 2017 The only thing I like about it, a mate has a get together round his every year & everyone gets wankered. The missus fell over & broke a couple of ribs last year Usually miss the actual race

tom27111 Posted 31 March 2017 Posted 31 March 2017 More of That if Barry Geraghty chooses to ride it. You heard it here first
ScouseFox Posted 1 April 2017 Posted 1 April 2017 backed blaklion last week. ticks more of the national boxes than most the entries. which means it definitely won't win. had a glorious winner last year hoping to hit it again this year but I mean come on. should be a good three days of racing though.

leicsmac Posted 3 April 2017 Posted 3 April 2017 I think the Nat is the one big race of the year where the form book pretty much goes out the window - the course is a great leveller/randomiser. Makes it bloody difficult to tip, but great viewing.
GaelicFox Posted 3 April 2017 Posted 3 April 2017 Blaklion and 80/1 (hills) Ballynagour each way many bookies will be paying 6 places this weekend !
Out Foxed Posted 5 April 2017 Posted 5 April 2017 Interesting to see so many for blaklion been a horse id been meaning to do but havent. Which means it will win.

Which means it will win. of those near the top of the market it ticks most the "national horse" boxes. but as always it doesn't mean much. 40 horses, 4+ miles, 30 fences. could tick every box you think of and still get brought down, make a mistake etc etc. my main shout anyway. will have a browse for a couple at bigger prices later. also involved in ucello conti.
Bobby Hundreds Posted 6 April 2017 Posted 6 April 2017 Losing each way stake back with Bet365 up until noon on Saturday.
ScouseFox Posted 6 April 2017 Posted 6 April 2017 empire of dirt go hard or go home today. wins by miles.
ScouseFox Posted 6 April 2017 Posted 6 April 2017 taking a chance on frodon in the opener. had the short priced shouts in accas a while ago so cheering them on but never a fan of getting stuck into cheltenham winners following up at this meeting. can't see either getting beat though. reverse of the form in the top two in the fox hunters for me too. on the fringe would've won at chelts if he was closer to the pace so he will be this time and he will win. simple game.

tom27111 Posted 7 April 2017 Posted 7 April 2017 Like the look of O O Seven in the 3.05 today. Especially at 16/1 Could be a good day for Nico de Boinville.
