ZeGuy Posted 6 February 2018 Posted 6 February 2018 Conté is gone this summer and Mike Dean as well as John Moss should never ever officiate again. Can't believe these two frauds are still grazing the pitch.

They should be eternally grateful to him no matter where they finish. 5
Matt Posted 6 February 2018 Posted 6 February 2018 Ray Parlour. Tbf he’s not really picked a ‘side’ on the Mahrez saga. He’s just been in about clubs sniffing round Salah and would Liverpool sell him and said ‘It’s not about money though, it’s about keeping your best players.’ How come no one has said that about us? How come Liverpool are allowed to keep their best players and we’re not? Just like how will it be ok for Chelsea to sack their manager after winning the league but we weren’t. We shot bambi. 2

Cos lpool are a big club always in the top 4 (r they?) people expect us to be 7th at the very best and therefore not giving top players the platform they are entitled to have and we don’t pay enough weekly wonga to have the best players when push comes to shove
jammie82uk Posted 6 February 2018 Posted 6 February 2018 Is the inevitable happening? At various bookies Betting has been suspended on Conte being sacked

Playing 5 defenders and Kanté shouldn't be allowed full stop either, at one point he was lining up with hazard and Morata as his only 2 attacking players, wtf is that all about.

You know - the 'push' that he gave a penalty for. Seemed very much like he was just guessing. In that transcript from yesterday it's weird that the linesman is speaking as if he's the authority figure and Moss the subordinate. There's that phrase about managers, isn't there - 'they've lost the dressing room'. Maybe Moss has lost not just the fans', but also his colleagues' respect. I still can't believe that performance. I thought there were six penalty calls in the game, he got five of them wrong, neither that were given were penalties, there were three that should've been that weren't, and then the Vardy one which, in my eyes, was actually a correct decision. Maybe Moss is just determined for the game to end 2-2. Forest away, West Ham home, Man Utd home and now this Liverpool Spurs game, are the big games I remember from Moss, and oddly, all four ended 2-2 and all four ended with a last gasp equaliser.

He can’t interfere with play simply due to his presence - he only actually interferes with play if he touches the ball. The closest you could consider is interfering with an opponent but again, mere knowledge of presence is insufficient criteria per FIFA - you have to prevent them from being able to play the ball eg standing in front of the goalkeeper and obscuring their vision or running across the path of the defender to block them off. That's complete nonsense in my eyes. I can't believe that's what they think. Positions of players dictate play as much as anything else on the pitch. The only time ever I think you'd not call offside if a player wasn't interfering with play is if there's a blatantly overhit through ball and the forward just leaves it for the keeper to pick up and keep the ball alive. That's fairly common sense, but that scenario in the Liverpool game, I'm sorry, if Kane is not deemed offside there then there's no logic what so ever. EDIT: Nonsense from FIFA, not you. Still 1/8 on sky bet but that’s more or less suspended with those odds. Looking at replacements I was amazed to see Eddie Howe is long as 50/1! I know it’ll be Luis Enrique but couldn’t believe how long Howe’s odds were considering he’s always linked with Arsenal

Foxxed Posted 6 February 2018 Posted 6 February 2018 Poor Kante. Mahrez must be looking at him with envy. If only he'd have jumped ships when Kante did, he could also be looking at almost certain defeat in the Champions League. Also, writing this has made me realise something: did a Watford put four past Chelsea with Kante in the team? MY GOD.

He's not a Premier League DM in a Million years. Similarly Chelsea don't need two DM's!! He's got a touch of the Pogba's first season about him for me, he needs to be allowed the freedom to go forward by playing in a more advanced midfield role. Funny really... Matic, Kante, Bakayoko in a three with Bakayoko allowed to roam might have worked quite nicely! Edited 6 February 2018 by AjcW

ARM1968 Posted 6 February 2018 Posted 6 February 2018 I think Conte actually wants to be sacked. I can’t reasonably explain some of his recent decisions if not. Take his payout and move on.

Whist I agree that all should strive for correct grammar/spelling I'm not sure highlighting people's errors is the kindest way to go. Should dyslexic people be ashamed of themselves? Or people that were never tauight to read or right properly? None of us is good at everything, knowledge should be shared not used to poke fun. X 1
