Foxhateram Posted 2 May 2017 Posted 2 May 2017 Why couldn't they have been this weak in the air against us?
Blue ROI Posted 2 May 2017 Author Posted 2 May 2017 Good chance for gamiero but saved by real. Cracking game so far.

MrSpaM Posted 2 May 2017 Posted 2 May 2017 Seems like Athletico played the game of their lives against us because this is poor from them so far, can't believe how deep in their own half they're sitting

brucey Posted 2 May 2017 Posted 2 May 2017 Atletico are in the midst of a defensive injury crisis though aren't they?
Blue ROI Posted 2 May 2017 Author Posted 2 May 2017 Atletico setup tonight a bit like we were in the qf away leg. The fear of losing out to real again has to weigh heavily on them.
Izzy Posted 2 May 2017 Posted 2 May 2017 Real Madrid are such a team of posers. Pretty boys the lot of em

KingsX Posted 2 May 2017 Posted 2 May 2017 How many changes to the defense we saw? This is night and day, so poor.
Izzy Posted 2 May 2017 Posted 2 May 2017 Athletico getting their arse kicked here. Yet another Ronaldo hat trick vs them and they must sick of the sight of him. Nice to see Simeone nearly in tears on the sidelines though
Super_horns Posted 2 May 2017 Posted 2 May 2017 Tbf Ronaldo does make even the best of defences look poor.. Him and Messi are a cut above.. But could they do it on a cold night in Stoke
Ted Maul Posted 2 May 2017 Posted 2 May 2017 You can get at them if you really attack- we showed that, and Real are a totally different proposition.
Izzy Posted 2 May 2017 Posted 2 May 2017 I think they just said Ronaldo has scored FORTY TWO hat tricks as a Real player. Surely that can't be right? That's fvckin nuts!!!
yorkie1999 Posted 2 May 2017 Posted 2 May 2017 i think the only way to stop ronaldo is break his leg so he's out for the second leg

Blue ROI Posted 2 May 2017 Author Posted 2 May 2017 Thankfully we managed to avoid being embarrassed like that. Atletico never got going. A bad way for their recent era to end. Simeones taken them as far as he can it seems.
rn9013 Posted 2 May 2017 Posted 2 May 2017 Well that went well for those of us behind atletico...... Ronaldo really is a few cuts above world class though. Give him a chance and he punishes even the best defences in the world. As much as I wanted ateltico to win, it was kind of satisfying seeing simeone well and truly beaten. His behaviour in the first leg against us brandishing imaginary cards at every opportunity was nothing short of disgraceful.

Always has been and always will be.
Wymsey Posted 2 May 2017 Posted 2 May 2017 Shame we can't regularly pass effectively like Real Madrid had done at times. Passed accurately and with pace.
